Shazia Hung Out To Dry?

Shazia Wahab

- Video: Watch Shazia's reaction

We couldn't believe it last night when Shazia became the second candidate to get fired. How did team leader Jenny manage to escape the boot?

This latest decision did make us wonder if Sir Alan is keeping in the candidates who would make a good apprentice or those who will make good TV over the coming weeks?

The latest task saw the teams set up rival laundrettes for the day. Pricing mix-ups and lost clothing meant that the sparks were flying in the cleaning establishments and at the end of the day the dirty linen was aired in the boardroom.

Raef was team leader in the victorious boys' team and managed to redeem himself after last week's task, which saw him almost face the axe. The split in the boys' camp is still very evident and noticeably Raef sent the more 'laddish' members of the team back to do all the hard work while himself, Kevin and Michael ('the toffs') rode around London in a taxi sipping lattes.

The losing girls' side, led by Jenny, had a disastrous week. Lindi and Jennifer decided to make up prices rather than doing any research and, as a result their pricing was either outrageously high (£5,000 to do a hotel's laundry) or ridiculously low (£15 to wash two loads of clothes from a fish restaurant).

However, both of them managed to avoid being taken into the boardroom to face Sir Alan - was it because they were favourites of team leader Jenny?

Lucinda certainly wasn't one of her favourites and it was hard not to feel sorry for her as bossy Jenny kept telling her to be quiet. Lucinda hasn't really shone so far in the series but her treatment this week did seem pretty harsh.

Sir Alan looked horrified when Jenny told Lucinda in the boardroom that she felt she had to breastfeed her during the task! It'll be very interesting to see how this pair get on over the coming weeks.

Shazia had been given the task of labelling the laundry given to the girls and therefore the blame lay with her when several items went missing. Yes, this was another disaster for her team but it did appear to be a genuine mistake on her part - and it was only one of a whole catalogue of errors. But Sir Alan didn't seem to see it that way and fired her.

We think that useless (and incredibly annoying) team leader Jenny should have been fired.

Let us know what you think...

Jenny is ttpical of most managers. Head up their own arse and always ready to blame someone else for their own failings. Jenny should have been fired without question, she was less than useless and such a patronising idiot.

I am convinced that the decision to sack Shazia was made for the TV viewing figures, without a doubt she was made a scapegoat. Shame on you Sir Alan for not sacking the right culprit "Jenny ". I must admit that it makes great TV though !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my view the problem with this programme is they pick the wrong people to become the Apprentice. They should pick normal people doing normal jobs – not ones describing themselves as Global Pricing Leaders – what a load of cobblers. If I hear one more of these pretentious pri*cks come out with anymore “management speak” I will scream.

Jenny should be fired- she was a totally useless team leader - didnt know what was going on regarding pricing or organising of laundry. Team was a shambles - all that talking at the start didnt help - she didnt plan well, delegate well or lead well. Bring back Shazia - the poor @#$% was shafted and didnt realise it until it was too late to fight her corner. I think they do keep the most awful candidates just to make it more interesting viewing - look at Sayed and Katie! They stayed in way too long as well.

jenny was awful and i cant believe she was described by her boss as "too good for Sir Alan Sugar". Shazia only did what she did because told by Jenny, Jenny would make a better business woman if she took the blame and took the punishment rather get scared and pass blame onto people I think she chose through only personal dislike... @#$%
