Shazia Hung Out To Dry?

Shazia Wahab

- Video: Watch Shazia's reaction

We couldn't believe it last night when Shazia became the second candidate to get fired. How did team leader Jenny manage to escape the boot?

This latest decision did make us wonder if Sir Alan is keeping in the candidates who would make a good apprentice or those who will make good TV over the coming weeks?

The latest task saw the teams set up rival laundrettes for the day. Pricing mix-ups and lost clothing meant that the sparks were flying in the cleaning establishments and at the end of the day the dirty linen was aired in the boardroom.

Raef was team leader in the victorious boys' team and managed to redeem himself after last week's task, which saw him almost face the axe. The split in the boys' camp is still very evident and noticeably Raef sent the more 'laddish' members of the team back to do all the hard work while himself, Kevin and Michael ('the toffs') rode around London in a taxi sipping lattes.

The losing girls' side, led by Jenny, had a disastrous week. Lindi and Jennifer decided to make up prices rather than doing any research and, as a result their pricing was either outrageously high (£5,000 to do a hotel's laundry) or ridiculously low (£15 to wash two loads of clothes from a fish restaurant).

However, both of them managed to avoid being taken into the boardroom to face Sir Alan - was it because they were favourites of team leader Jenny?

Lucinda certainly wasn't one of her favourites and it was hard not to feel sorry for her as bossy Jenny kept telling her to be quiet. Lucinda hasn't really shone so far in the series but her treatment this week did seem pretty harsh.

Sir Alan looked horrified when Jenny told Lucinda in the boardroom that she felt she had to breastfeed her during the task! It'll be very interesting to see how this pair get on over the coming weeks.

Shazia had been given the task of labelling the laundry given to the girls and therefore the blame lay with her when several items went missing. Yes, this was another disaster for her team but it did appear to be a genuine mistake on her part - and it was only one of a whole catalogue of errors. But Sir Alan didn't seem to see it that way and fired her.

We think that useless (and incredibly annoying) team leader Jenny should have been fired.

Of course Sir Alan kept Jenny and Lucinda; It makes for good future viewing in following weeks. Unfortunatly Shazia was fired to help with the ratings!! Looks as if this programme has only survived a few years before it to has sold out to ratings. Shame on you BBC. Nanny Helen

Jenny is a stuck up disgusting person!! she should have definitely gone. I felt really bad for Lucinda- Jenny said she was a "fungus feeding on the positiveity of the team" well she was doing a better job than arrogant Jenny, Jenny should give an explanation. she shouldn't be allowed to treat, bully and favoritise people like that on TV. Children will get the wrong idea, by surviving the sack it gives out the message that bullying is ok, and it will get you what you want-which it won't. Jenny was the fungus-deciding to bully and victimise one person until they are in complete tears. Jenny and the BBC should apologize for letting such disgusting behavior be shown on TV. Lucinda got on with the job in hand, Jenny just bullied and lectured. Shazia explained to Jenny how the labeling system worked before she left. It Jenny's fault the team got it wrong and lost.

Jenny is a bully and a liar! Those poor girls! She never brought up any issue within the whole task that Shazia had done anything wrong? Then had the nerve to say that she was a liar and various other things in the board room? Well, did you not think to mention this at the time Jenny, if it was such a big problem? If you actually play it back, Jenny told her to go back to the house and then messed up all the clothes? As for Lucinda, from the beginning of the task, Jenny was rude to her. Highlighted the fact that Lucinda was not much use as she knew nothing about her business skills and therefore wrote her off straight away, without even asking her about what she does. No interest whatsoever! Poor Lucinda was not even given anything to do and was just told to go with whoever in whatever car.....Jenny was not bothered. I think Lucinda done more work than Jenny. Its all about TV rating's, Jenny is not a team leader, she was rubbish! Control freak on a power trip. Hope she gets fired asap!

absolutely agree....not only is Jenny incredibly annoying and useless but she has no idea how to lead a team of people and is very rude. All team leaders if they are decent team leaders would hold themselves accountable. If Sir Alan is any good at his job he will realise his mistake and make sure she goes next. She doesnt even make good viewing as every time she comes on the tv I want to turn it off.

I think she was so intimidating that even Sir Alan was in awe of her. Or did he become so confused and befuddled by the raging tyrant that he fired the wrong contestant?

I completely agree! Jenny was absolutely vile...did Jenny think that by being truly acidic and aggressive towards Lucinder it was supposed to prove a point? Jenny claims she thrives in the masculine world, but surely men at least treat women with more respect than what Jenny does. I can't believe she called Lucinder a fungus!! Hideous woman...I seriously hope karma exists and Jenny gets what she deserves.
