- Video: Watch Shazia's reaction
We couldn't believe it last night when Shazia became the second candidate to get fired. How did team leader Jenny manage to escape the boot?
This latest decision did make us wonder if Sir Alan is keeping in the candidates who would make a good apprentice or those who will make good TV over the coming weeks?
The latest task saw the teams set up rival laundrettes for the day. Pricing mix-ups and lost clothing meant that the sparks were flying in the cleaning establishments and at the end of the day the dirty linen was aired in the boardroom.
Raef was team leader in the victorious boys' team and managed to redeem himself after last week's task, which saw him almost face the axe. The split in the boys' camp is still very evident and noticeably Raef sent the more 'laddish' members of the team back to do all the hard work while himself, Kevin and Michael ('the toffs') rode around London in a taxi sipping lattes.
The losing girls' side, led by Jenny, had a disastrous week. Lindi and Jennifer decided to make up prices rather than doing any research and, as a result their pricing was either outrageously high (£5,000 to do a hotel's laundry) or ridiculously low (£15 to wash two loads of clothes from a fish restaurant).
However, both of them managed to avoid being taken into the boardroom to face Sir Alan - was it because they were favourites of team leader Jenny?
Lucinda certainly wasn't one of her favourites and it was hard not to feel sorry for her as bossy Jenny kept telling her to be quiet. Lucinda hasn't really shone so far in the series but her treatment this week did seem pretty harsh.
Sir Alan looked horrified when Jenny told Lucinda in the boardroom that she felt she had to breastfeed her during the task! It'll be very interesting to see how this pair get on over the coming weeks.
Shazia had been given the task of labelling the laundry given to the girls and therefore the blame lay with her when several items went missing. Yes, this was another disaster for her team but it did appear to be a genuine mistake on her part - and it was only one of a whole catalogue of errors. But Sir Alan didn't seem to see it that way and fired her.
We think that useless (and incredibly annoying) team leader Jenny should have been fired.

The team leader is excellent at not telling the truth, very dishonest and very cute with her words. she without a doubt should have been the one to go.

If fairness counted then Jenny would have gone!
Posted by: chrisinthesun on Thu Apr 03 12:27PM | Report abuseJenny should have gone. She was a lot like my ex-wife. Vicious @#$%.
Posted by: danjeyes on Thu Apr 03 12:27PM | Report abusei couldn't believe that she was voted out. the team leader for the girls was very bossy and too big for her evil boots. she treated lucinda like a kid and if i was in that situation i certainly wudnt have been as gracious as lucinda when being told to 'shut up' and that 'i have no talent'. Get her out next week. horrible piece of work!

Posted by: type1carl on Thu Apr 03 12:27PM | Report abuseShame on you Sir Alan! I hope it was a blip showing that you are only human. I hope that you fired the wrong person by mistake and it wasn't because Jennie makes better telly. Jennie should have gone without a doubt. When she watches it back I hope she is as appauled as I was by her behaviour and mends her ways...But I doubt it, people like her never do! If Jennie is not fired next week then you, Sir Alan, will be fired from my telly as I won't be watching any more and your programme will be in the trash along with the sensationalizing disgrase that is Big Brother.
Posted by: auction_man1960 on Thu Apr 03 12:27PM | Report abuseCompletely agree... The bullying of Lucinda by Jenny is not acceptable workplace bahaviour and should have resulted in an intervention and an expulsion by the production company, never mind Sir Alan. As it was seen on screen, Shazia was the first girl to reliase there would be overnight working involved and that they needed to get the irons secured... Jenny was the person who sent her home to follow through the suggestion.
