- Video: Watch Shazia's reaction
We couldn't believe it last night when Shazia became the second candidate to get fired. How did team leader Jenny manage to escape the boot?
This latest decision did make us wonder if Sir Alan is keeping in the candidates who would make a good apprentice or those who will make good TV over the coming weeks?
The latest task saw the teams set up rival laundrettes for the day. Pricing mix-ups and lost clothing meant that the sparks were flying in the cleaning establishments and at the end of the day the dirty linen was aired in the boardroom.
Raef was team leader in the victorious boys' team and managed to redeem himself after last week's task, which saw him almost face the axe. The split in the boys' camp is still very evident and noticeably Raef sent the more 'laddish' members of the team back to do all the hard work while himself, Kevin and Michael ('the toffs') rode around London in a taxi sipping lattes.
The losing girls' side, led by Jenny, had a disastrous week. Lindi and Jennifer decided to make up prices rather than doing any research and, as a result their pricing was either outrageously high (£5,000 to do a hotel's laundry) or ridiculously low (£15 to wash two loads of clothes from a fish restaurant).
However, both of them managed to avoid being taken into the boardroom to face Sir Alan - was it because they were favourites of team leader Jenny?
Lucinda certainly wasn't one of her favourites and it was hard not to feel sorry for her as bossy Jenny kept telling her to be quiet. Lucinda hasn't really shone so far in the series but her treatment this week did seem pretty harsh.
Sir Alan looked horrified when Jenny told Lucinda in the boardroom that she felt she had to breastfeed her during the task! It'll be very interesting to see how this pair get on over the coming weeks.
Shazia had been given the task of labelling the laundry given to the girls and therefore the blame lay with her when several items went missing. Yes, this was another disaster for her team but it did appear to be a genuine mistake on her part - and it was only one of a whole catalogue of errors. But Sir Alan didn't seem to see it that way and fired her.
We think that useless (and incredibly annoying) team leader Jenny should have been fired.

You seem to demonstrste all the most unpleasant attitudes seen in the Apprentice. This is TV not real life. Grow up!
Posted by: alan121grant on Thu Apr 03 12:25PM | Report abuseThere was practically no explanation why Sir Alan made this terrible decision - so unfair! What a nightmare it would be to have to work with Jenny in any capacity.
Posted by: kairos_uk on Thu Apr 03 12:25PM | Report abuseI totally agree- I cant believe Jenny wasn't fired- she was so horrible to Lucinda! No way for a group leader to behave.
Posted by: beccystonham on Thu Apr 03 12:25PM | Report abuseI think that Jenny is a very unpleasant person-bossy and rude to the others . What happened to the saying ''its not what you say..but how you say it''I would have hated to work with her-Hopefully she will get her comeuppance soon! RG

Posted by: griptonja on Thu Apr 03 12:26PM | Report abuseFully agree. Jenny behaved like a classic bully. Nobody deserves to be belittled infront of others in the way that Jenny did to Lucinda.
Posted by: netty.hill on Thu Apr 03 12:26PM | Report abuseOMG Jenny should have been fired! She was just being loud and putting the blame on everyone else :(
Posted by: uz_jan on Thu Apr 03 12:26PM | Report abuseSir Alan has lost the plot. Last night he nearly smiled a couple of times and then hefired the wrong person, it should have been the obnxious team leader, Jenni.
