Ex-Dollar singer David Van Day and TV presenter Timmy Mallett are the latest stars to join ITV's I'm A Celebrity.
However, both stars got a shock when they were 'kidnapped' on their way into the jungle and they will now be held at ransom while the other campmates decide if they are willing to make sacrifices for their freedom.
Viewers of tonight's show will see the ten original celebrities faced with the decision of whether they will give up their own food and luxury items to stop the newcomers from going hungry.
So, who are these new 'celebrities'? Well, David Van Day first found fame in 80s pop duo Dollar with hits including Mirror Mirror and O L'amour. He was nicknamed David Burger Van Day after it was revealed he had set up a burger van business several years ago. Van Day is no stranger to reality TV and has appeared on Living TV's Pop Goes The Band and ITV's Reborn In The USA, in which he famously clashed with pop singer Sonia. Watch David in action...
Timmy Mallett is best known for presenting 1980s children's TV programme Wacaday which first featured the infamous Mallett's Mallet game in which he would hit unlucky contestants over the head with an oversized mallet. He also topped the charts in 1990 with a cover of Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.
The presenter hit the headlines recently after The Sun revealed that his mallet had been stolen and launched an appeal for its safe return. Take a look at Mallett in action...

Don't care about David Burger Van, never liked Dollar when I was a kid. I'd be happier if I never ever saw Timmy Mallett's face again, even to punch it. He is possibly the most annoying person ever to grace the screen. Did you know that Andrew Lloyd Webber was the person behind his Itsy Bitsy single. Despicable.

Posted by: stanjones5949 on Thu Nov 20 01:08PM | Report abuseTwo more has-beens, dug up from the past. This 'Celebrity' business is no more than a charity benefit event so these people can make some money. Why can't they just get a normal job like us mere mortals, instead of trying to cash in on their long lost 'Talents'. It's no more than a mutual back scratching exercise.
Posted by: cboutty on Thu Nov 20 01:08PM | Report abuseI find it very amusing that this program is titled ' I'm A Celebrity ' My definition of the word celebrity, and the definition that the program makers have is obviously quite different.
