Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?

Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.

Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.

The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.

Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.

More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

Do you think Laura deserves another chance on The X Factor? How would you feel if she was allowed back into the comepetition? Let us know what you think...

No. Laura is one of the best singers but the competition is very very strong this year and Simon told her her image wasn't good. She was in the bottom 2 and that was the public vote. Goodbye Laura

Jeez the public vote has nothing to do with it, these poor people are all pawns in a money making game - how much does it cost to vote? Did you hear them all "you saw what happened to Laura now you better vote vote vote"? making the producers rich rich rich. It's all about controlling your votes (and the viewing figures to sell more advertising space) - and the more people who get frenzied by the "outrage" and the "shock results" and the "bickering" the more will buy the CD at the end. money money money money. it's a lovely parody of real life, someone's a genius. Great if Laura comes back, I love her voice, but it's hardly bending the rules.

Sorry, Laura is a nice @#$%, but she was a boring X Factor contestant. Her style of singing has been done to death. The music industry is flooded with artists like her. We need to vote for acts that are more unique and full of charisma like JLS.

tough though it is she's out, why should she be given another chance, if she is as good as everyone thinks, and with the coverage is she is still receiving she will get a further break from someone.

X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing are supposedly for the viewers to vote for who they want to see stay in the contest....that's the point of the shows...........that's the format. So Laura ended up in the bottom two.........so what, not as many people voted for her as the others. In the sing off, Ruth's performance was better than Laura's. All three judges agreed. Where's the problem? Favourites at the starting post often fall before the finish........that's life people!!!!!!!!! Who on the X Factor should be voted off if Laura...god bless her cotton socks...was in the bottom two again. The other contestant, no matter what? As for John Sergeant quitting the Strictly Come Dancing CONTEST which is also a VIEWER VOTE CONTEST........I can understand why he has.........all the sniping, media outbursts and slating off him by other contestants, judges and no marks put him in an intolerable position. I will no longer be watching Strictly..........nor will many of my friends. As for the X Factor............is Laura really better than Diana, Ruth, JLS and the other remaining contestants..........if so, scrap the show, give her the contract and let's all go home. Life is a contest........some times you win...........some times you lose. Pick yourself up, dust yourself down and 'LAURA' get over it..........Louis Walsh didn't put you in the bottom two. If the last vote had been with Simon you still would've been voted off. If the last vote had been with Danni you still would have been voted off. And to be honest, Ruth's final performance was better than yours. And for all of you 35000 who have signed petition......I reckon I could get a whole lot more than 35000 to sign a petition not for her to get back on the show as a contestant. If I could be bothered. Now.........why don't we all sign a petition to get Gordon Brown out...........he wasn't even voted for in the first place. SHEEEEEEEEEEEESH!!!!! this country is going mad.

laura is fab and should not have been voted off by louie and should have gone to deadlock. However I think it would be unfair to bring her back and put people off voting.

What a poor loser, she was voted off as fairly as the others who went before her and they accepted it and took it with dignity, at the end of the day she was in the bottom two else she wouldn't have been in the sing off, Louis cast his vote, thats how it works and if she can't take it she shouldn't have entered in the first place.
