Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?
Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.
Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.
The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.
Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.
More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

I don't think Laura should be reinstated. She is not the only talented person to be voted off. There's more to having th X-factor than just being able to sing. Her voice is NOT faultless and she does lack something. Not all viewers like her and it would be unfair to reinstate her just because 35,000 viewers have complained. This could happen time and time again and the public vote would count for nothing and the whole show would become a sham. If she came back on and went on to win, it would be totally unfair! In fact, I would not watch the final or bother voting ever again.

If everyone had the same likes and dislikes the world would dress, look, listen to one type of music etc, get the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The real problem with this show is the judges get to decide between the last two acts with the lowest public support. You know the mentors are going to favour their own acts, while the others get rid of their main rivals - if possible? Let the public decide and eliminate the sing-off.

This is a competition and not a game.once voted out accept and leave.Bringing her back realy will be a shamefull thing to the judges as they work under rules and there is no way they can break them

It's only fair that Laura be sent back because she is the best in the show and was given a raw deal. I dont think the X-factor holds much interest from the public because of this issue.

However, for both Laura and Austin, has anyone noticed Louie's tactics that if its one of his or Danis peeps in the last two against one of cheryls and Simons, he always votes against Cheryl or Simon no matter how good the finalist is. Its totally fixed in my mind but still equally essential to watch. I think Louis should be voted off to be honest - he just childish and seems to enjoy ruining talented peeps lives!
