Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?

Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.

Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.

The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.

Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.

More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

Do you think Laura deserves another chance on The X Factor? How would you feel if she was allowed back into the comepetition? Let us know what you think...

The public didn't vote for her so why should she be allowed back on the show?? Don't get me wrong, she's a fantastic singer, she was my favourite but the public can't complain that she was voted off when not enough of the public picked up the phone to keep her in

No. Let bygones be bygones. Sadly, the whole concept of shows like these, are being ruined by contestants such as Laura White. She was voted off. Just accept it. It's not like her future isn't going to be amazing. Her boyfriend,an X-Factor insider, will no doubt use his contacts,as well as those on the panel who liked her. You win some, you lose some,it was the risk, why milk it?

She was in the bottom two because most voters wanted her gone - it's that simple. If she is allowed back in then they must also allow all those who have been voted out to return as well. That won't happen, which is why Laura won't be coming back.

Laura is a great talent, but I don't believe she should be allowed back on the show as a contestant. By all means allow her to perform a single from say "a new upcoming album", just not as a competitor.

Laura shouldn't have been voted off... and neither should Ruth, but the standard is very high this year and the one who should have gone that night got the sympathy vote......so blame it on the public who voted. Laura can't come back that's not fair to the others. In any case the winner stands out a mile, not that that, means anything if last year is anything to go by.

If she had been so popular then why wasn't she voted through? It was a shame to see her go - but it would be totally unfair to reinstate her, unless it could be proved that her voting line was faulty and that she shouldn't really have been in the bottom two for the sing off. She is Fabulous and I don't think we have seen the last of her in the music industry.
