Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?

Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.

Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.

The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.

Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.

More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

    Of course she will be back - on the final show - and otherswho were voted off will be standing beside her.

    Laura should never have been put off the show but if she came back it would only be probably a sympathy vote that would keep her in.

    Without question, she is the best singer, I thought her and Austin, were the best. However, all of this creates what they want, publicity, and with the furor going on within Strictly well..... Laura has an amazing voice, and as such, rules are there to be broken, and it has been said, thousands of people could not get thro on the phone so......... hmmmmmmmm

    YOU ARE OUT! LIVE WITH IT!!! WHY SHOULD SHE BE ALLOWED BACK? IF SHE GOES BACK IT SHOWS THE SHOW IS FIXED!! IF THEY TAKE HER BACK, THEN EVERY PARTICIPANT THAT HAS BEEN VOTED OFF SHOULD GET BACK. PLEASE STOP THIS STUPID PROGRAMME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The truth is, that nobody on the show is any good, nobody why do they have Danni as a judge.simply because if they had anyone any good they would recognise that the singers were all poor.

    its a singing contest after all, tactical voting and game playing happens as each mentor wants to win badly. no way should laura be allowed back on, she got voted off, she probably release a single anyway. but do we even really care? she be old news in couple weeks.
