Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?
Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.
Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.
The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.
Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.
More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

Posted by: m.bailey1981 on Thu Nov 13 01:10PM | Report abuseLAURA SHOULD BE ALLOWED BACK, AND I THINK IF ANYONE IS NOT ABLE TO SING LIKE DIANA, THEN THEY SHOULD BE THE ONES TO BE OUT OF THE SHOW...DON'T GET ME WRONG, I DO LIKE DIANA..BUT I ALSO THINK THAT THE VOTING HER OFF WAS TACTICAL AND IT MAKES THE WHOLE SHOW A SHAM AND IT SURMOUNTS TO BEING FIXED.I THOUGHT THESE GUYS KNEW TALENT..THE VOTE FOR THEIR TALENT NOT TACTICS.

Why shouldnt she get a second chance, pity more ppl in the world dont get second chances.

She would not in my opinion have made the final. It happens every year, why is Daniel still in, Same Difference in last years show. Good stuff, I love it. Tracey

Posted by: sally.howard4 on Thu Nov 13 01:11PM | Report abuseSome of us may be dissapointed that she was amongst the bottom of the public vote and was then voted off but that is the rules of the show.. It is at the end of the day a program where the public decide with some possible intervention only among the bottom two by the judges. It is sometimes sad that the standard is high and person still have to lose out. Changing the rules would be damaging to the credibility of the show and she should not come back as part of the competition. I wish her luck with her carreer.
Posted by: edallen on Thu Nov 13 01:11PM | Report abusethis is crazy! why should she be put back on the show?! she was voted off and that is that! if people dont like it then that is tough - the public voted!! she was in the bottom 2!! x factor really needs a break now - im getting sick of it year after year, another manufactured pop star - series 3 was good - only leona from all the winners has gone on to be a decent success! the only one who is really any good!!
