Could X Factor reject Laura White be about to make a surprise return to the reality show?
Speculation of a comeback has intensified after the singer told a group of fans that they hadn't seen the last of her on X Factor.
Laura said: "Don't worry - I'm going back on the show" when cornered by some admirers in London earlier this week, reports The Sun.
The singer, who was one of the favourites to win this year's X Factor, was voted off Saturday night's show following a sing-off with Ruth Lorenzo.
Judge Louis Walsh had the deciding vote and his decision to get rid of Laura was blasted as tactical by her mentor Cheryl Cole.
More than 35,000 people have now signed a petition to have Laura reinstated in the competition - will X Factor bosses bend the rules and bring her back?

Laura is just a bad loser. Her voice is phoney, she puts on some weird Billie Holliday sort of accent that sounds rediculous.If she is allowed to go on the show will be a travesty.What about the phone votes from last week?Why did people waste money voting?

She's not that good anyway, so very unlikely that she could have done a Mirah song!! BRING BACK LAURA

Posted by: d.santini on Thu Nov 13 01:05PM | Report abuseto be fair i dont know why she was voted off in the first place when she was a really strong competitor however is she was to return how would the other contestants feel that got voted off aswell are they getting a chance aswell? dont think so, its all decided by the public vote and obviously not enough people liked her.

Posted by: beverlygosling on Thu Nov 13 01:05PM | Report abuseIf Laura is allowed to return it destroys the integrity of the entire show, as this will happen every week someone is voted off. Laura should just accept her defeat like a true champion would concentrate on finding a good manager to promote her voice, if she's as talented as she thinks she is, she'll be fine. I do think they may be some kind of tactics involved, but lets be honest we're pointed towards potential winners/Favorites from auditions. Take Rachel for example she had more air time at Audition to tell her sod story so we would remember her same with Daniel, the selection process is managed so that Sob story often over power's Talent that happened to Laura, Happened to Austin will Happen again!
