Battle of the Blades

The final of Dancing on Ice (Sunday, 7pm ITV2) promises to be a a spectacularly cut-throat battle between Hollyoaker Chris Fountain and reality stalwart Suzanne Shaw. There's another contestant (Zaraah Abrahams from Corrie) but no one really seems bothered about her.

The judges all seem to favour Suzanne, who's been beset by injury and has overcome broken ribs and a fractured ankle to get to the final. This week she's going to 'fly' on a harness. Whether this is to dazzle the judges or to audition for her next role as Peter Pan in panto remains to be seen...She'll scoop the sympathy vote, but will it be enough to beat Chris Fountain?

Chris on the other hand, has previous experience as an ice hockey player which means he's been dazzling all the 12 year old girls with his fast and furious moves. The judges think he's got an unfair advantage but the girls are still voting for him in force. He'll probably win. Yawn.

Underdog Zaraah doesn't really stand a chance, no matter how many times the residents of Weatherfield pick up their phones. She was brought in last minute and has done well to get to the final, despite being bottom in previous weeks. We'd love to see her win, just to mess with Chris's ego.

With Torvil and Dean recreating their legendary Olympic gold winning 'Bolero' and all the eliminated celebs back on the show, it's one not to be missed. We'll be watching just to see what Holly's wearing!
