We tuned into Kerry Katona's new MTV reality show Madly in Love expecting car-crash TV and instead got a motorway pile-up.
It's hard to tell what Kerry and husband Mark are hoping to prove by allowing cameras access-all-areas for the series. Certainly not that they are a likeable down-to-earth couple because clearly they are not.
The pair spent half the show bickering about money - with Mark moaning about Kerry not buying him enough for Christmas or whinging that she wasn't wearing an expensive watch he had bought her. When he wasn't doing that he was poking fun at her bipolar disorder. Nice guy.
Other 'highlights' included PR guru Max Clifford cringing as Kerry joked about his nipples and Kerry and Mark going for a 'tasteful' photoshoot to celebrate their wedding anniversary. We also saw heavily pregnant Kerry downing a glass of wine in her dressing room before heading into the studio for an interview with Jonathan Ross.
Kerry seems to be using the show as a mouthpiece to answer back against stories that have appeared in the press - in one scene she was looking over some newspaper articles about herself and moaning that it was all rubbish.
The former Atomic Kitten singer said in the programme that she wants people to think of her again as Kerry who won the jungle, not the coke-bingeing Kerry featured in the tabloids. Sadly her behaviour in the first two episodes of this series is going to do nothing to win back public support.

Posted by: magaly.spawforth on Sun Feb 24 09:01PM | Report abuseI think her show just proved what a fool she really is.I never saw her spend any time with her kids and even when Heidi was sitting on her bed she was only interested in watching herself on t.v.She looked spaced out most of the time and the rest was spent in bed.Looks like Brian done well to get out.Finally 3 words to describe her...............LAZY,GOBBY,and SLOB.As for Mark...............MONEY GRABBER.

She is giving those of us who suffer from bipolar disorder a bad name, and is not acting very responsibly as a parent or as a pregnant woman. If she wasn't 'famous for being famous' social services would be in there like a shot.

Mark also asked her if she had had a @#$% because she smelt like she had, and has been showen to drink on the show too I am discusted. i have just had a baby and wouldn't have dreamed of having a @#$% or downing a glass of wine. the show i think has just proved all the papers right

How Brian and his new partner must sit and cringe when they watch that rubbish that they call entertainment. And how Kerry has the cheek to comment on other peoples lives in OK is beyond me. I think she lives in a dream if she thinks people believe she does'nt take drugs anymore.
