Another day and another Corrie star announces that he is leaving the show.

We're still reeling from the news that Rob James-Collier, who plays Liam Connor, is leaving later this year - and now Tom Hudson (Jack Duckworth's grandson Paul) is also off.

Tom's character will exit in a dramatic storyline which sees him torching Leanne Battersby's restaurant as part of an insurance scam.

The door is being left open for him to return and Tom has hinted that this won't be the last we will see of Paul.

There's still no news on how Liam Connor will leave the show later this year, however, with his wedding to Maria this week and a love triangle with Carla looming, it is bound to be explosive.

Will you be sad to see Rob and Tom leave the show? Which other characters would you like to see the back of?

    Yes I will be sad to see Liam leave but still hopefully he will be back later. After all lets be realistic it is only a story. I would like to see Carla get her comeuppance. Good actress.

    really sorry to hear Rob is leaving theSreet hope he changes his mindtoght we might have a happy ending for a change.Wish Carla would disappear and please draw the ''baby mix up'' story to an end everyone is getting bored with it.

    Yes of course I will not be happy about Liam leaving, Poor Maria will she be the eternal saddo of Corrie? Not sorry about Paul leaving but he does make a good baddie. Get rid of Violet she's such a miserable cow and treats Sean appallangly.

    Yes very sad, good looking hunks. Bring some youth to the show. Me i am age 54 i love um. I do not agree with barneysarmy1 that Ken should go, he is a long standing member of the cast and would not be the same with out our Ken.( Liam wow)

    Rob please don't go if you go my daughter will be traumatised she's already had to lose Craig (shes only 10) she can't cope with anymore hunks going Richard Fleishman where are you now???????????
