Another day and another Corrie star announces that he is leaving the show.
We're still reeling from the news that Rob James-Collier, who plays Liam Connor, is leaving later this year - and now Tom Hudson (Jack Duckworth's grandson Paul) is also off.
Tom's character will exit in a dramatic storyline which sees him torching Leanne Battersby's restaurant as part of an insurance scam.
The door is being left open for him to return and Tom has hinted that this won't be the last we will see of Paul.
There's still no news on how Liam Connor will leave the show later this year, however, with his wedding to Maria this week and a love triangle with Carla looming, it is bound to be explosive.
Will you be sad to see Rob and Tom leave the show? Which other characters would you like to see the back of?

Not too bothered about these two. Would love to see the back of Maria. Always looks on the black side.

I would like to see, Carla Conner, Norris Cole, Rosie Webster and David Platt all leave as well.

She's in it way too much and why has she waited all this time, throughout her life with paul to realise she's in love with liam.I dont think so! Why cant maria do something about it when liam is there,she goes on about her but has'nt laid it down to him.Why not tell him about the slap or the evil she spits to only to her.By now any other woman would have dragged carla around those coggles by the hair with carla's heels sparking as she goes.Please dont go liam!
Posted by: karentaylor42 on Mon Feb 11 11:10AM | Report abuselet marie marrie liam, then let her get the better somehow of the number 1 @#$% by taking carla for every pennie, so maria got shares in the factory.and takes over from liam some how ,in the office there would be an explosion for you ,let it out of yhe bag, to maria about the death of the the girl they covered up ,anything so poor marie for once as something good going on for her, let her have the baby then get divorced from liam .dont let him leave though keeping hanging on somewhere.pay him more money if you have to.get rid of derdre she is so boring or gobby .the little common thing OH jannice I mean .there is some good story lines there,give ken that woman back he's got that sprogg with .and for goodness sake watch the drinking in the rovers on a lunch time Im sick of my husband going on about health and safety with those machine opps from the factory. sorry about spelling my computors got a mind of its own its past its sell by date .
