X-Factor's over for another week and yet again I'm wondering just who is voting to keep Same Difference in the competition? I actually physically wince when I see their saccharine performances every week. I nearly brought up my dinner when they wheeled out the troupe of candle carrying kids this week. Unfortunately they were fake plastic candles, just in case they burned the place down...pity. Who is voting for this pair, and can a responsible adult please stop them from using the telephone!
In less nauseating news, I'm glad to see the back of Simon's very own Barbie collection, Hope. Not since the Spice Girls has there been such a whiff of animosity every time one girl gets an extra line to sing. None of these girls wanted to be in a band in the first place, and I'll take bets now as to whether they will still be talking in 6 months.
Predictably (and hopefully) I think the final will be 3 soloists - Rydian, Leon and Niki. Nicki's got the likeability factor, and she can belt them out. Leon's got the whiff of the underdog (and the Scottish vote), which leaves quirky Rhydian to suck up everything else and take the X Factor crown...whether it will fit over his ever growing quiff is another matter.
Is our prediction correct? Who do you want to see battle it out in the final?

yeah I am totally with you on this one, Same difference aren't even in the same league as the others, and I can't beleive they are still in it. I still don't know how they got to the live shows in the first place. 12 months from now they will disappear into pantoland forever!

I guess a season that uncovers a true talent like Leona, is always going to be a hard act to follow. Nothing this year comes even remotely close. Leona has been top of the singles chart for 6 weeks and top of the album charts for 2. I doubt we will still hear from any of this years acts in 18 months time whilst Leona will go on to become a true powerhouse of the British and World music scene. On a separate note.....Hope!! Whilst they weren't the most talented group I have ever seen, they were the most commercially viable contestant in this years X factor. After all, what have Girls Aloud got that Hope haven't. Answer....nothing. The rest of those left won't survive an instant outside the "bubble" of the weekly show. Realistically Niki will disappear down the same black hole that Jane McDonlad went down after 1 moderately successful album of covers. Leon will have one hit single if he is lucky.....no-one wants a teenager who signs swing (don't believe me...tell me where Ray is now!!), Rhydian will survice on the novelty factor, but the "classical goes pop" market is very crowded and crowded with people a lot more tatented than Rhydian. Same Difference will do a couple of albums for Kids parties and then back to the wedding circuit. Properly managed Hope could have made it ahead of all of those.....hey ho.

They are not my choice by a long way, but if they are voted for.................. I think Rydian should and will win. He has a wonderful voice and a gorgeous smile. Easily the best of anyone this year.

Although I am a pacifist, everytime I see sicly and vomit I want to smack them cos that is what I think they deserve. I think Leon will be in the final 3 cos he's got the cute factor and all the little girls will vote for him. Although Nikki is good she will never be a pop star cost she's got the mumsy feel about her. Rhydian has always been my favorite to win because he is different and has a good voice and can sing anything. Erika
