The most low-key series of Big Brother ever ended last night (on a Monday night! What's that all about?) and John was crowned winner.
John, for those who only tuned in on the launch night (and that would be a large proportion of viewers), was the wannabe politician who became the unlikely star of the first night's show thanks to celebrity hijacker Matt Lucas's first task.
Last night also marked Dermot O'Leary's final Big Brother show as he bows out to devote more time to The X Factor. Is it just us or is Dermot one of the most overrated presenters on the telly at the moment?
Although this series of Big Brother brought in respectable sized audiences for E4, viewering figures were only a fraction of the ratings enjoyed by both the celebrity and regular editions on Channel 4. Unusually for Big Brother, this series has also failed to generate much interest in the press.
What did you think of the series? Should Channel 4 go back to the regular Celebrity Big Brother format for next year's show - or should Big Brother be scrapped all together?

I watched the launch, and couldn't be bothered after that, all seemed very strange to me and pretty boring. Bring back Jade, Shipla, Pete Burns and George Galloway, CBB at it's very best.
Posted by: palamberg on Tue Jan 29 07:13PM | Report abuselow-key!! it certainly was...I was furious after sitting here watching the first hour of the launch, to be disappointed when transmition on channel 4 ended!! Although every year I tell myself i'm not going to watch the series I always end up doing so. What was the idea of only airing the programme on e4!! I can't get cable where I live and was really disappointed that I couldn't watch this series.

Posted by: jodiecus on Tue Jan 29 09:21PM | Report abusei think channel 4 should go back to regular channel not only E4 as alot of views might not have E4, if channel 4 wants to keep their figures up that is. Regarding this seris of celeb B.B i thought it was a joke as they enjoyed all the luxery they could have wanted nothing like the poor housemates in the original B.B or Celebrity B.B as they dont have many chances to get all these luxery things even if they fail one task they get no sympethy. I say go back to all the oreginal stuff.
