A massive 82% of Yahoo! users believe that The X Factor has lost all credibilty following Lucie's exit from the show.
Only 8% of almost 48,000 people who voted said that they still believed the show was credible, while many commented that they would no longer be watching.
Sunday night's controversial result saw Simon Cowell force the decision to the public vote after Lucie Jones and John and Edward found themselves in the bottom two.
It was then revealed that Lucie had received the least votes and she left the competition, despite giving a much better performance than the twins during the sing-off.
The poll results come after it was revealed that ITV has had more than 3,000 complaints about Sunday night's programme.
TV watchdog Ofcom has also confirmed that it is investigating complaints from viewers about the show.
Fans are also threatening to boycott the show because they believe it has turned into a joke. Lorda288 said: "What a farce - as soon as Simon chose to keep the twins in I switched off. I won't be watching again. For him it is all about money and his acts winning.!
Floloverrichard added: "Let me know when John and Edward have gone and I will start watching the show again."
In other X Factor news, it's been reported that plans for a dance theme this weekend have been ditched by Simon Cowell in a last minute decision.
The remaining acts will now sing songs by Queen on Saturday night's show. Good news for Simon's acts Jamie and Danyl then?

No surprised at all, what Simon did was cowardly and disgusting i said to my partner straight away he doesn't realize what damage he has done to the show. It has now become a farce, but for my 7 year old daughter loving Stacey i would ban it from ever TV in my house. Mark Moran

Isn't it rather odd that when Simon was asked at the beginning of the show who he thought was likely to be in the bottom 2 last Saturday he said, probably one of the girls? Why when they have great vocals - He says he doesn't know how the voting is going yet he predicted a girl and Lucie was in the bottom 2 and then he let it go to deadlock for a decision. Suspicious or what, he knew exactly what the outcome would be. We are really angry about this and will stop watching.

Posted by: alexanderfraser1968 on Tue Nov 10 12:48PM | Report abuseWhile I agree that handing it over to the public vote was the fairest way of doing it, I don't see why Cowell made such a big song and dance about the god awful twins being on the show only to completely change his mind. Its obvious he did it to keep interest in the show, but at the same time it has ruined the program for me. Cowell should not be on the far end of the judges so it doesn't come down to him anymore as he always has his own agenda. He wants more interest in his show and it was also obvious that he took the opportunity to get rid of a strong competitor to his acts. Load of rubbish basically.

He said the twins can't sing from the beginning and last sunday night, it's his chance to ditch the twins.Therefore, I conclude the show is not a talent show, it's an entertainment show even though you can't sing.

I hated John and Edwards act but am not complaing because I did not vote to keep Lucie in. If you are going to be so annoyed when someone goes then vote for them in the first place! obviously John and Edward had more votes from the public, that is the bottom line and that was not down to the show!
