Tony and Carla in Coronation Street

This week, Carla's return leads to bloodshed in Corrie, the father of Heather's baby is revealed in EastEnders and Mark faces an impossible decision in Emmerdale. Find out more...

Coronation Street

Hang out the bunting - Carla's back! Yes, the knicker factory boss returns this week to put a stop to Tony's happy families with Maria and - by the end of the week - she has blood on her hands.

The drama unfolds after Carla gets in touch with Tony and arranges to meet him at Liam's grave - wouldn't a wine bar have been a better option?

She tells the shocked businessman that she wants him to sign over his shares in Underworld and disappear for good, otherwise she will tell everyone that he was behind Liam's murder.

Tony says he will go along with her plan, but what Carla doesn't realise is that he has got in touch with his henchman Jimmy and asked him to get rid of Carla for good.

The week ends with a violent confrontation between Carla, Jimmy and Tony in her flat and one of the three is left for dead in a shock twist. Who will it be?

Also this week, Luke runs off with Rosie's money and Molly faces some awkward questions from Sally in the Rovers.

EastEnders

After months of intrigue, the father of Heather's baby is finally revealed this week - and it's a shocker.

But, first of all, there's the messy business of the birth to get out of the way and Heather finds herself being rushed to the hospital by Pat in Shirley's ice-cream van!

When she gets there, Patrick is on hand to comfort her through the birth and there is a big surprise when the baby turns out to be a boy - and not the girl that the scan had suggested.

Finding herself on the spot to come up with a name, Heather names her son after her idol - George Michael.

Later in the week, Heather and George Michael arrive back in the Square (we never thought we'd write that) and the new mum decides the time has come to introduce George to his father. So, who is it?

Also this week, Phil punches Jack and Darren proposes to Libby.

Emmerdale

Mark finds himself torn between two women this week after Faye gives him an ultimatum and Natasha also tries to woo him back.

For the past few weeks Mark and Faye have been growing closer again so it's no surprise that he finds himself consumed with jealousy when he sees her getting cosy with Jai in The Woolpack.

He reveals his true feelings for his ex by kissing her and is shocked when she tells him that she will only be interested in him again if he leaves Natasha for good.

Still reeling from this bombshell, Mark is surprised when Natasha offers to rekindle their relationship and invites him to spend a romantic night with her in a hotel. He's obviously wearing the right kind of aftershave these days!

Her offer leaves Mark with an impossible decision to make. Who will he choose?

Also this week, Nathan seduces Leyla and Cain and Charity share a kiss.

Once again the story lines in Coranation St and Emmerdale are sheer rubbish, together with the acting.
