Shy X Factor singer is secret lap dancer

Cheryl Cole and Amie Buck

A newspaper has revealed that shy X Factor auditionee Amie Buck, who broke down in tears during Sunday night's show, earns up to £500-a-week as a lap dancer.

The wannabe singer, who struggled with her nerves on the show, performs dances in Newcastle's Blue Velvet Club, reports The Sun.

Viewers saw Amie get upset after the judges were left unimpressed by her version of Alicia Key's Fallin'. She went on to sing a Girls Aloud song with Cheryl Cole helping her out after she forgot some of the words.

A friend told the paper: "Some girls can make up to £1,000 a week. Amie tends to just work weekends. But she is one of the more popular girls.

"She is really good at it and is a big hit with the blokes because she is so pretty - and has a great figure."

Amie was put through to the Boot Camp stage of the show after impressing the judges with her second song choice. Viewers will find out this weekend whether she is one of the acts to make it through to the Judges' Homes - the final round before the live shows kick off.

Did you see Amie on Sunday night's show? Are you shocked by this revelation? Let us know what you think...

It doesn't make any difference to her singing, at least she is working and not scrounging off the state

lap dancing and singing are 2 different things u might be confident in one more then the other thought she sang the first song better as she remembered the words and u could hear what she was singing xxxx
