EastEnders has revamped its opening title sequence for the first time in ten years.
From next Monday, viewers will be treated to a new 3-D version of the map with moving clouds and brighter colours.
The theme tune has also been given an update by its composer, Simon May, and the EastEnders logo now fades into shot, rather than scrolling up.
EastEnders executive producer Diederick Santer said: "It's not been tweaked or changed in the ten years since the Millenium Dome was completed in 1999 and in my first week here in 2006, it started to bug me.
"With everyone now so familiar with Google Earth, it struck me that the style of the map image, as well as the content, was a little out of date."
The most radical revamp of the EastEnders' opening titles came back in 1993 when the theme music was replaced with a jazzed up version. This was later dropped after complaints from viewers.
Take a look at the new opening titles below and let us know what you think...
And, in case you've forgotten it, here's that short-lived 1993 version:

Posted by: la.cole on Wed Sep 02 01:33PM | Report abuseNot really 3D is it? Looks more like a fuzzy aerial view. In the end, who watches the opening sequence but the music IS important because you can't NOT LISTEN
