Rita Sullivan and Emily Bishop in Coronation Street

This week, there's heartbreaking news in Coronation Street, Trina dies after a violent confrontation with Lucas in EastEnders and Chas cheats on Paddy in Emmerdale. Find out more...

Coronation Street

There's tragedy for one Weatherfield resident this week when the police come knocking with news of a shock death.

Norris is the unlucky recipient of the news and it concerns his brother Ramsay, who dies suddenly on his flight back to Australia.

The busybody gets the bombshell while he is sulking at Emily's house as everyone else enjoys themselves at the street fete.

Norris initially keeps the information to himself as it slowly sinks in but is forced to tell Rita when she calls round to see if he is alright.

Rita and Emily are both devastated and the pair soon turn on Norris because of the way he treated his brother when he was alive. Will Norris be forced to grieve alone?

Also this week, Joshua is rushed to hospital after swallowing a bee and things hot up again between Kevin and Molly.

EastEnders

There's horror in EastEnders when a clash between Lucas and Trina results in his estranged wife's death.

The events unfold after a dramatic week which starts with Trina turning up late for Jordan's birthday and then getting off her head on drugs and smashing his birthday present. She also swears never to give Lucas a divorce.

Trina returns the next day claiming she will disappear for good if Lucas gives her the money she desperately needs to buy more drugs. Lucas turns her down, however, Trina's claim that he still wants her does appear to strike some kind of chord within him.

Several days later the pair end up sleeping together and Lucas is wracked with guilt afterwards and faces the realisation that his relationship with Denise will be over if the truth comes out.

When he meets Trina again there is an almighty row and Trina dies. Does Lucas murder her?

Also this week, Zainab moves out and Charlie returns unexpectedly with a Russian girlfriend.

Emmerdale

After those dramatic events in Weatherfield and Walford, you may be relieved to know that we get through a week in Emmerdale without anyone dying. Phew. Instead, affairs of the heart take centrestage as Chas cheats on Paddy with old flame Carl.

Despite her vows to stay faithful to the vet, who is away on a course, Chas finds herself back in Carl's arms following Katie's birthday party.

When Carl first makes a move on her, she tells him she isn't interested, however, he won't take 'no' for an answer and jumps to Chas's defence when Nathan later makes a play for her.

Chas is angry at the scene created by Carl, however, her mood changes when he tells her that he never loved Lexi and still has feelings for her.

His words do the trick and she ends up spending the night with him. Full of remorse the next morning, Chas tries to sneak home but finds herself caught out. Is it over for her and Paddy?

Also this week, Michael has a confession for Debbie and Ryan is angry after some surprise news.

Why do men think that Russian women will be different. They derive from a period of communism- so they want to leak money out of men and gain financial security. A lot of these women have had cosmetic surgery and its controlled by a large organisation: idiot western men.
