The BBC is putting the finishing touches to a new talent show which will find a performer who can dance like Michael Jackson.
One of the late singer's family members is expected to appear as a judge on the series which will be called Move Like Jacko, reports The Sun.
The programme will feature a nationwide search for dancers who can perform Michael Jackson's signature moves including the moonwalk, however they will not be expected to sing like the star.
A source told the paper: "People are so passionate about Michael it makes sense to build a talent show devoted to him and his incredible performances.
"And given that his family played such a huge part in his life, it makes sense for one of them to be a judge. Jermaine, Janet or LaToya would be brilliant."
A BBC spokesperson said in a statement: "We are currently in advanced discussions about commissioning a new entertainment show, which will seek to find Britain's most talented dancer, who can move like the legendary Michael Jackson."
The programme is expected to be broadcast in 2010 so it will not be up against The X Factor in the ratings war.
Do you think this show is a fitting tribute to Jacko? Or maybe you feel it's too soon and is cashing in on his death? We want to hear what you think...

In my humble opinion no one anywhere in the world can replace these amazing extremely talented people nor should they try.

Posted by: anitabehbin on Wed Aug 19 01:13PM | Report abuseoh please why do we have to have programmes dedicated to copying an artist surely his fame was his individuality and natural talent even to perform to that level he was on alsorts of pain killers, can we just enjoy the performances of the man instead of watching people try to copy an gain status of being someone there not beause they cant find the magic of there own that will make them famous, its different for a stage show but we have already some of the top dancers accomplished invarious forms of dance that can dance like him so do we need a whole show NOnoNO,hope the jackson family ask for a huge cut that wont make the programme viable, and you really think a family member wants to sit and watch wanna bes ,if you lost a talented family memeber would you want to watch everyone trying to copy him and be him the thought is degrading enjoy what we have and stop making money out of someones tragic loss its disgusting

Posted by: dave.tench on Wed Aug 19 01:19PM | Report abuseyeah u can tell people are really interested in this as the 5 spams show, as a license payer i dont wish for my contribution to be used in this way, considering the way he lived his life rightly or wrongly hes best forgotten and left in the annals of history where he now belongs.
Posted by: snuffer31 on Wed Aug 19 01:19PM | Report abuseWhat a load of rubbish. Can't the BBC think of anything more imaginative that that? Michael Jackson was great but he's been and gone. Please try and think of somthing new and a bit more thought provoking...
