Dannii Minogue has revealed that she considered quitting The X Factor following her treatment during the last series.
The singer says she only agreed to take part in the forthcoming series after being reassured it would not be like last year's series, which saw her reduced to tears live on air by fellow judge Louis Walsh.
She told The Independent: "I'm not made of steel. It got heated on and off set, and there's only so many times I can be pushed around.
"It got to the point where I had to defend my character. I'm sure the audience were eating it up, but it's different when you're actually in that set. It was absolutely horrible. I would never want to go through that again, or see anyone else go through it."
She went on to tell the paper that things are different on this year's show. She said: "This year there's a really good vibe between us. Last year it was clear to everyone that I wasn't having fun, and I made it clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn't want to go there."

She's just the sister of someone famous who can't bare to move on and do something less vacuous than sit on a talent show panel. Don't forget this article and all the other @#$% that has been written about her in recent days is free ADVERTISING for the new series of which I definitely will not watch and have never watched. It's total garbage for working class cretins. I am working class btw, just not a cretin.
