Dannii in X Factor quit threat

X Factor judge Dannii Minogue

Dannii Minogue has revealed that she considered quitting The X Factor following her treatment during the last series.

The singer says she only agreed to take part in the forthcoming series after being reassured it would not be like last year's series, which saw her reduced to tears live on air by fellow judge Louis Walsh.

She told The Independent: "I'm not made of steel. It got heated on and off set, and there's only so many times I can be pushed around.

"It got to the point where I had to defend my character. I'm sure the audience were eating it up, but it's different when you're actually in that set. It was absolutely horrible. I would never want to go through that again, or see anyone else go through it."

She went on to tell the paper that things are different on this year's show. She said: "This year there's a really good vibe between us. Last year it was clear to everyone that I wasn't having fun, and I made it clear that if it was going to be anything like that again, then I didn't want to go there."

Do you think Dannii was unfairly treated on last year's series? Will The X Factor be less fun if there isn't on-screen bickering between the judges? Let us know...

No I don't think she was unfairly treated, all of them took a bit of stick sat some time or other I think it was because she wasn't in the limelight all the time.

I'm not even sure what she does for a living. Failed actress, failed pop singer, failed presenter. She's just the sister of someone famous who can't bare to move on and do something less vacuous than sit on a talent show panel. Don't forget this article and all the other @#$% that has been written about her in recent days is free ADVERTISING for the new series of which I definitely will not watch and have never watched. It's total garbage for working class cretins. I am working class btw, just not a cretin.

WHO GIVES A FLYING F*#% ?? It's a rotten, lowest-common-denominator show - and she IS the lowest common denominator.

She started this latest show for the money, lets be honest, now she finds out the rest are earning more than her, she's now crying, get rid of her, the show will continue to grow without her, it started without her and will carry on, bye bye bye bye bye bye Danni
