Coronation Street's Chesney Brown

This week, Chesney steals Rosie's car in Coronation Street, Ronnie beds Whitney's brother in EastEnders and Lily prepares to leave the Dales in Emmerdale. Find out more...

Coronation Street

Sweet, angelic Chesney ditches his good boy image this week when he goes joyriding in Rosie's swanky new car.

It comes at the end of a miserable few days which see him finally finding out that his sister Fiz has secretly got engaged to jailbird John.

Fiz's secret comes out after she buys Chesney a hideous pair of trainers for his birthday and he goes rummaging in her pockets to get the receipt so that he can get a refund. Let's be honest, we've all done it.

While looking for the receipt, he finds her engagement ring and decides to hide it to teach his sister a lesson.

Later, when he sees Sally and Rosie talking about the car which was bought with John's money, something snaps and, while they are not looking, he drives off in the car. Problem is, he can't drive. Will he make it out of this in one piece?

If Chesney needs some bad boy tips then he should look no further than David Platt, who is up to his old tricks again - this time blackmailing Joe.

When David finds out that his mum's boyfriend is hooked on painkillers, he immediately works on a plan to see how he can best use this nugget of information to his own advantage.

He decides to steal Joe's latest batch of the drugs and then offers to sell them back to him if Joe agrees to convince his daughter Tina to get back together with David. Will Joe go along with his plan?

Also this week, Becky and Steve plan their wedding and Maria decides to go to Ireland, much to Tony's dismay.

EastEnders

Well, well - that Ronnie Mitchell certainly doesn't waste any time, does she? This week sees her put the whole Jack business behind her as she jumps into bed with a new man who's only been in Walford about five minutes!

But then again, when the man in question is Whitney's hunk of a brother Ryan, you can hardly blame her for chasing a bit of happiness after the dismal year she's had.

There's an immediate chemistry between Ronnie and the newcomer when the pair first meet in the Square and, when he starts a trial shift at the Queen vic, things start hotting up.

When Ryan finishes his job at the pub he starts another one at Ronnie's flat. Ahem. Is it a case of love or lust at first sight? And how will Jack react when he inevitablly finds out?

Meanwhile, it's a bad week for Christian when he is beaten up and left for dead in his own flat.

The drama unfolds after Christian is roped in to helping out at Syed and Amira's engagement party. Amira asks Christian to help, unaware that he is having a secret fling with her fella, Syed.

The stress of the situation becomes too much for Syed at the party and he tells Christian that he wants nothing more to do with him.

Christian storms out and goes to the Queen Vic to drown his sorrows and that's where he gets chatting to a mysterious stranger. Christian ends up inviting him back to his flat and it's then that things take a more sinister turn...

Also this week, Libby goes to visit Owen in prison and Liz confronts Chelsea.

Emmerdale

Tissues at the ready this week as Madge, er sorry, I mean Lily, prepares to bid farewell to the Dales.

The past couple of weeks have seen feelings intensify between Lily and Turner's leather-clad biker friend Eddy so, when Turner backs out of their world trip, Lily is only too happy to pop on her helmet and take his place.

Of course not everyone is willing to wish her well - her uptight sister Edna, for one, is horrified that she is setting off with a man she has only known for a matter of days.

However, Lily is determined not to let her sister rain on her parade and packs to ride off into the sunset. Is this the last we will see of her?

Elsewhere in the village, Cain is determined to find out exactly what is going on between Mark, Faye and Ryan.

The devious Dingle knows that there is some connection between the three and is desperate to find out what it is so that he can use it against his new enemy Mark.

He tries to get closer to the truth this week, firstly by offering Ryan a job at Debbie's garage and then by giving Faye a car in the hope he can win her over.

Will either of them reveal the bombshell that Ryan is Mark's secret son?

Also this week, Val attempts to find out what is going on between Diane and Rodney and Lexi and Carl get an offer of help from a surprising source.
