Coronation Street
Poor old Ashley finally gets some good news when Claire is given the all clear after her operation. But this being Corrie - and Ashley being the most unlucky of soap stars - things take a turn for the worse once more when Claire needs to be revived. After regaining consciousness it is up to Ashley to tell her that they've lost the child she didn't even know she was carrying.
The heart-breaking news causes Ashley to discuss trying for a third baby again, but his timing couldn't be worse and Claire reminds him of her battle with post-natal depression. She then lays down the law asking him to have a vasectomy causing more drama in an already stormy relationship.
The pair can't seem to settle their differences and when Ashley visits her again she is nowhere to be seen. Frantically he searches the hospital and finds her standing on the roof but will she take the plunge, or will Ashley manage to talk her down?
Elsewhere on the Street, Maria is battling with the in-laws when they accuse her of trying to get into bed with Tony, and accuse Tony of trying to step into Liam's shoes. The interfering gets too much for Maria and she throws the Connor's out - but is she pushing away everyone in her life that cares about her?
Plus, David isn't the only mischief-maker on Corrie, and he's about to discover what desperate Joe is up to - but will anyone believe the boy who's cried wolf one too many times?
EastEnders
Debra and Whitney have a narrow escape after Debra gets tailed by an unknown pursuer. Bursting into Whitney's flat, Debra explains that she's been followed.
The pair hide under the stairs after the mystery man breaks into the flat.
The intruder eventually leaves and Whitney demands to know what happened. Debra admits that she had previously caught the same man stealing money and in retaliation she stole a key from him.
Debra and Whitney then head off to a derelict school where they retrieve a bag which contains jewellery belonging to the man's mother.
Upon returning to Albert Square they're confronted by the person who had been following Debra earlier and Whitney is shocked to discover that it's her brother Ryan.
Debra explains that her son is dangerous and discovers a knife in his bag. Ryan admits that he once used the knife to kill someone but claims it was in self defence.
After a furious argument Ryan storms off telling Whitney that they'd be better off without him.
After bumping into Ronnie who he becomes drawn towards, Ryan returns to the Evans house.
He explains that he's decided to stick around but will it work out in the end?
Elsewhere, Stacey has become obsessed with revealing who Max's new lady is and corners him in the Vic to try and uncover her identity.
Emmerdale
Mark is heartbroken after Natasha confesses that she's no longer in love with him just before she leaves for her holiday.
Things get even worse for Mark when he discovers that Ryan and Faye have moved into Tenant House.
He confronts Faye but she insists that she's staying and the couple begin to settle into the house.
Elsewhere, Rodney is dismayed to learn that his new company car is in fact a delivery van.
After being taunted by the Pollards, he forgets to engage the handbrake and the vehicle rolls down the hill towards Home Farm shop.
Ryan, Leyla and Doug are inside the building as the van comes crashing through the wall. Trapped inside the shop the trio are in extreme danger as the roof begins to cave in.
As word spreads about the incident, Mark ruses to the scene. He manages to move a heavy beam that almost crushes Ryan, appearing to save the day.
All three of the victims are then rushed to hospital and Faye asks Mark if it's time to come clean with Ryan.
Will Mark be able to admit he's Ryan's dad or will he bottle it at the last moment?
