Garry, Dawn and Phil in EastEnders

This week, Dawn and Phil are caught out in EastEnders, Molly and Kevin struggle to get time alone together in Coronation Street and there's bad news for Lexi in Emmerdale. Find out more...

EastEnders

Dawn and Phil are caught out this week when it becomes clear that their affair isn't the secret they thought it was.

The pair are getting steamy upstairs in the Queen Vic when Dawn's boyfriend Garry arrives in the pub with a rose for her.

The cheating lovers are startled when they hear his voice on the stairs and Dawn is forced to hide behind the door in just her undies. When Phil distracts Garry, she manages to make a run for it and heads home wearing one of Phil's old overalls.

However, when she gets there she is confronted by Minty who reveals that he knows about the affair. Will he tell Garry what she has been up to?

Meanwhile, there's a shock for the Mitchells as Archie returns to Albert Square.

Archie has been living in exile from the clan ever since his lies about Ronnie's daughter Danielle and her subsequent death. In the wake of that revelation, Peggy wanted her new husband dead, however, Phil settled for driving him out of Walford with some scare tactics.

Now, just months later he's back and Peggy finds herself all alone with him in the Queen Vic after he sets off the fire alarm.

He claims that he has changed and begs for another chance - but will anyone believe him?

Also this week, Heather's baby secret is revealed and Jordan goes missing.

Emmerdale

There's more bad news for Lexi when she finds out that she can't conceive naturally.

Lexi is still distraught after losing her baby following an ectopic pregnancy and is devastated when the doctors tell her that her Fallopian tubes are damaged,

She fears that this will put further strain on her marriage to Carl, however, sadly she doesn't realise that he doesn't want to start a family with her.

When Carl talks to her and realises how much having a baby means to Lexi, he reluctantly agrees that they should use IVF. However, before the week is over, Lexi is dealt yet another blow...

Elsewhere, there are some seriously crossed wires in the Pollard house which could spell ruin for the businessman.

Times are so hard at Eric's factory that he makes the difficult decision to close it down and sell off the equipment to make some money.

However, his wife Val doesn't realise how he plans to recoup some of his losses so she asks the Dingles to rob the factory so that she can make an insurance claim for the contents.

Pollard is furious when he realises what she has done - are they about to lose everything?

Also this week, Natasha tells Mark to get rid of Faye and Bob finds out that Viv wants to see him.

Coronation Street

Molly and Kevin are determined to spend some time together as their affair heats up - but fate seems determined to keep them apart.

Their first attempt sees Kevin telling Molly to hop into a car he has been working on and they drive off into the countryside to get some peace and quiet. But it's not to be and they are interupted by a policeman tapping on the window.

Kevin thinks his second plan can't fail and he books a night at a country hotel and tells wife Sally that he is agoing to an old friend's birthday. But that plan also falls flat when the hotel calls Kevin to confirm and Sally takes the call. Luckily, Molly tells Sally that Kevin has booked the hotel as a birthday surprise.

Later in the week, during Sally's birthday party, the pair finally find themselves on their own over at the Duckworth's. But will Kevin's guilt prove too much for him?

There's romance blossoming elsewhere when Sean finds out that he's caught the eye of someone at at the gym.

The barman has just started working out with Jason in a bid to improve his fitness so it's an added bonus when he finds himself flirting with the handsome Leon.

However, it soon becomes clear that Leon thinks that Sean is in a relationship with Jason and a further misunderstanding means that Sean has to keep up the pretence. Is he destined to remain unlucky in love?

Also this week, David lashes out when he finds out about Tina's new relationship and Liam's parents are furious when they see how close Maria and Tony are.

Why oh why can't someone have a normal relationship - it's getting stupid when you just know thats its all jumping into bed with another after about 5 min - dont soaps have morals any more? what about all the laughter there used to be? now its just bitching and back biting and spite

Both Coro St and Eastenders seem to have the same script writer?. The stories are always the same. It's about time they started to clean both the soaps up. I'm sick of them both treating the stories as cheap . I feel sorry for the whole lot of them sleeping with each other, and kids with three or four "mothers or fathers" It doesn't help morality for future @#$%agers What a world we live in? The best storyline is when Heather is on. She's about the sanest one. Paulie

i can only assume that all script writers sit round a very large table and share one story line just change the characters names
