Jonathan Ross has hit out at Graham Norton's latest TV series, claiming that it is 'not good enough'.

The presenter made the comments during his Radio 2 show at the weekend.

Ross said that there are no longer enough quality entertainers on TV to match the likes of The Two Ronnies. He said: "What have we got on TV over the weekend? We had Graham Norton's Totally Saturday.

"Well, that's not good enough. Poor Graham, I feel for him watching that show. It makes even that series John Barrowman was in look like a work of genuis."

Jonathan Ross is the BBC's highest-paid presenter, raking in £18 million over three years, while Graham Norton is the second highest earner with £7.4 million over three years, reports the Daily Mirror.

Norton's Saturday night show has struggled in the ratings and last week's programme was watched by just 2.9 million viewers.

Later this year Graham Norton's chat show will transfer from BBC Two to BBC One, home of Ross's Friday night series.
