Ross blasts rival Norton's show

Jonathan Ross

Jonathan Ross has hit out at Graham Norton's latest TV series, claiming that it is 'not good enough'.

The presenter made the comments during his Radio 2 show at the weekend.

Ross said that there are no longer enough quality entertainers on TV to match the likes of The Two Ronnies. He said: "What have we got on TV over the weekend? We had Graham Norton's Totally Saturday.

"Well, that's not good enough. Poor Graham, I feel for him watching that show. It makes even that series John Barrowman was in look like a work of genuis."

Jonathan Ross is the BBC's highest-paid presenter, raking in £18 million over three years, while Graham Norton is the second highest earner with £7.4 million over three years, reports the Daily Mirror.

Norton's Saturday night show has struggled in the ratings and last week's programme was watched by just 2.9 million viewers.

Later this year Graham Norton's chat show will transfer from BBC Two to BBC One, home of Ross's Friday night series.

Do you think Jonathan Ross's comments were justified? Have you see Totally Saturday? What do you think of it? Let us know...

Not too impressed by Graham Norton's Show, but I watched it, which is more that I ever do when Jonathan Ross is on. I always listen to Radio2, but it goes offf 10am Saturday morning when Ross comes on. People in glasshouses, shouldn't throw stones.

Johnathon Ross's comments are justified. 'Totally Saturday' is just utter @#$% with nothing good about it at all.

Johnathon Ross can't 'speak properly' because he has a speech impedamant, so its hardly his fault. Also he is a good quality entertainer, its a disgrace all of the nonsense about Andrew Sax was picked up on so badly, maybe it was in bad taste but he was only joking, this is comedy not do@#$%entaries, some people need to learn to laugh at themselves.

How on earth can that total waste of space called " Wossie" try to denergrate Graham Norton. I am not a great lover of Graham, but I prefer him any day to that piece of dog dirt that is still on the TV following his disgraceful episode with Russel Brand.
