Jonathan Ross has hit out at Graham Norton's latest TV series, claiming that it is 'not good enough'.
The presenter made the comments during his Radio 2 show at the weekend.
Ross said that there are no longer enough quality entertainers on TV to match the likes of The Two Ronnies. He said: "What have we got on TV over the weekend? We had Graham Norton's Totally Saturday.
"Well, that's not good enough. Poor Graham, I feel for him watching that show. It makes even that series John Barrowman was in look like a work of genuis."
Jonathan Ross is the BBC's highest-paid presenter, raking in £18 million over three years, while Graham Norton is the second highest earner with £7.4 million over three years, reports the Daily Mirror.
Norton's Saturday night show has struggled in the ratings and last week's programme was watched by just 2.9 million viewers.
Later this year Graham Norton's chat show will transfer from BBC Two to BBC One, home of Ross's Friday night series.
Do you think Jonathan Ross's comments were justified? Have you see Totally Saturday? What do you think of it? Let us know...

Posted by: b_vermillio on Wed Jul 01 10:41AM | Report abusejonathon ross wasn't crticisng graham norton it was the show he's been given to present. i agree with him, nortn is very funny on his bbc2 show the bbc just mess it up by trying to make him family entertainment when he's not that sort of performer. even ross was rubbish when he presented primetime saturday night shows.
Posted by: hecleanedwindows42 on Wed Jul 01 11:40AM | Report abuseThe BBC pay these people too much money for what they do. There are people who cannot pay for a tv liesense, and find hard in todays economy just to get by. Do away with this bloody tax, and let them all go work @ Tesco.
Posted by: bfoconnor03 on Wed Jul 01 11:48AM | Report abuseRoss is an overpaid self righteous buffoon who needs to grow up and stop insulting people. He should have been sacked, in any case we pay the license fee, so he works for us, so we should determine the realistic pay
Posted by: daveturnbull on Wed Jul 01 01:27PM | Report abuseJohnathon Ross's salary must be related to the size of his EGO, It certainly doesn't have anything to do with his non existant talent. His cohort on Saturday's radio show must be paid to laugh at his crass RUBBISH!!! He should be fired.
