Ross blasts rival Norton's show

Jonathan Ross has hit out at Graham Norton's latest TV series, claiming that it is 'not good enough'.

The presenter made the comments during his Radio 2 show at the weekend.

Ross said that there are no longer enough quality entertainers on TV to match the likes of The Two Ronnies. He said: "What have we got on TV over the weekend? We had Graham Norton's Totally Saturday.

"Well, that's not good enough. Poor Graham, I feel for him watching that show. It makes even that series John Barrowman was in look like a work of genuis."

Jonathan Ross is the BBC's highest-paid presenter, raking in £18 million over three years, while Graham Norton is the second highest earner with £7.4 million over three years, reports the Daily Mirror.

Norton's Saturday night show has struggled in the ratings and last week's programme was watched by just 2.9 million viewers.

Later this year Graham Norton's chat show will transfer from BBC Two to BBC One, home of Ross's Friday night series.

Do you think Jonathan Ross's comments were justified? Have you see Totally Saturday? What do you think of it? Let us know...

Graham Norton might be bad but nothing can be worse than Jonathon Ross. He must be the most uninteresting person ever to appear on television. Please BBC get rid of him.

Who does ross think he is for a start of he cannot speak properly , he insults people and he should not be allowed to get the monies he does. If the public had to vote he would not get that of monbies. Graham Norton is a lot better person than ross he is not foul mouthed good for nothing. Graham Norton anyday. Get rid of Jonathan Ross and put the monies into better use. A disgruntled licence payer.

i thikn jonathan is right! graham norton is simply not good enough! i liked him when i was about 13 but i got sick of it really quickly. he gets good guests on sometimes but he never gets the best out of them like jonathan ross does. i mean i think graham norton is just ok, i'll watch it if there's nothng much else on but i will go out of my way to see jonathan ross's show. i like how he speaks his mind even though it causes such a stir sometimes! that type of honesty from a famous person is inspiring to me :)

you see, jonathan ross was this and several other 'shocking' times using that empitamy of offensive@#$%ss, his opinion. and we all know nobody is allowed an oppinion. It's a shame other tv people don't use it much instead of being terrified of causing offence.

Sack both of them and in future keep all presenters salaries to less than £100k a year! That is more than enough for a talented and entertaining presenter. The average wage is £15k in the real world and we all seem to manage just fine.
