Girls Aloud have reportedly signed up to appear in a new soap set in the music industry.
The online soap, called The Secret World Of Sam King, is based on the early career of Simon Cowell and follows the fortunes of a post-room boy who has an eye for spotting talent.
He sets up a secret office in his stationery cupboard and successfully launches new acts right under his bosses noses - is that what Simon Cowell did with Sinitta?
The show is being produced by Girls Aloud's record label and other acts rumoured to appear in the series include Duffy, The Feeling, Razorlight and even Amy Winehouse! Personally, we can't see that happening.
Several members of Girls Aloud are said to be keen to launch an acting career and the soap will give them the perfect opportunity to showcase their talents.
The soap is expected to debut on Bebo later this year.
Do you think Girls Aloud have what it takes to make it in the acting world? Should they stick to the singing or are you excited about this new soap? Let us know what you think...
