It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    It was just rubbish, who wants to listen to two people row over nothing at all, I am very happy to see it go, how low now will ITV2 sink to replace it, with more rubbish I suppose.

    I loved how pete would say something kate didn`t like and she would say, "What was that Pete..?" - daring him to repeat it - and of course he isn`t that daft - he knew he would be in trouble when they got home ! I liked it !

    the show not that good but the next chapter is a different story you see peter & katie being a family with ups & downs just like everyone else in this world take my hat off to um brilliant family take care peter &katie keep up the good work

    shes getting to above her self, she doesnt deserve Peter, he may not be perfect but hes a nice guy who puts up with a lot...
