It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    i loved that show, they are hilarious and true to themselves. if some people cant handle true life then tell them not to watch the programme!!!!! idiots.

    No big loss but i would like to see more of the "Next Chaptor" series it was good viewing i think they are very down to earth people and aren't afraid to show there real sides on T.V. unlike most celebs.

    im sorry to see it go, its was a very tongue in cheek program ,and i think that is the point every one is missing, yeah they make fun of poeple, but they can also make fun of themselves, i watch their other progamme and some time pete really annoys me but i love katie price, she is a very successful woman and i think she is inspirational, if only more programmes were so tongue in cheek, britain is so up tight

    my husband and i and my 2 daughters and son and their partners watched katie and pete and we all thought it was very good quite funny better then a lot of programs [most programs] on the tv nowadays sometimes a little bit rude but enjoyable.

    I watched the show and really enjoyed it thought pete and katie are really funny and light hearted and just like to show there enjoying their life's together and showing their human unlike the likes of Victoria and Beckham.
