It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    very crude but also funny wont be sad to see it go like peter but jorden is useless and does not know how to act on tv.

    I DON`T KNOW WHAT ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT.LETS FACE IT THEY SHOW IS TEN TIMES BETTER THEN ANYTHING ELSE THAT ON TV.

    I think it's a shame that the average British telly viewer is not credited with a little more intelligence by TV channels and production companies. Katie and Peter's show, together with Big Brother and many other TV programmes are "fronted" by talentless morons and doubtless watched by others who are equally shallow. Whatever happened to REAL television where a persons breast size was totally irrelevant. Why do these people get paid for such pap? .... and re. "Recent articles" - Fancy a Blind Date with Davina?, I think you'd have to be blind to date her anyway!

    Katie and Peters show was (Im pleased I can used the word WAS!) total trash, I watch 2 episodes and thought it was wasting my life watching it. Boring & Pathetic would describe it!!!
