It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    OMG I loved the show i thought it was great i will be very sad if the show doesnt come back onto our screens later this year, why do people watch it if they dont like it??

    I actually enjoyed this show - yeah it was crude but you'd expect that from these two. At least they're upfront about some topics other couples are too shy to talk about. It's healthy.

    yes, all they have to do now is bin the rest of there programs, i hope itv can put somthing better in its place

    Thank goodness. I've never heard one couple talk so much rubbish!! I know he obviously has a very low IQ and she is obviously controlled by her raging hormones but why on earth did that qualify them for a TV show?? They are the worst parents & role models I've ever seen, they can't have a conversation that doesn't include a mention of sex and they are the moodiest pair of overgrown "bratts" I have ever seen. They make Posh and Becks look "normal"!! - at least Posh & Becks don't expost their children to foul mouthed rubbish and the intimate details of their sex lives!! At least Posh & Becks know how to "play" with their kids and be "parents"!

    Yes i watched the show i thought it was really good and it showed hoe good parents they were i will miss it
