It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    What do people find attractive in this couple. Hope they are never seen on our screens again. Over-rated and certainly over - paid.

    They're both vile creatures and I'll be glad to see them go!! All they think of is sex and money, bad example for youth of today. Who wants to know about what they get up to in bedroom, I have a very healthy love life, but I don't broadcast it, that's between me and my partner.

    I'm glad to see the back of this absolutely Rubbish programme, it can never be called a show.!! I cannot believe that we shall have to put up with them on our screens again.

    I found the show to be very distasteful. Who cares what they get up to in their private lives, we just do not want to hear about it.It is another one of those show that is saturating our TV screens. Unbelievable to think that we pay for this rubbish.

    i dnt no y every 1 is slatin katie n peter wat have they done thats soo wrong?? i loved the show n it was good 2 see that not every couple r perfect no matter how famous u r!! i love u k+p hope 2 c wat moreuv got x

    Never watched it. The thought is bad enough. Two very untalented people. Almost as bad as big brother. That should be the next to go. Wouldn't waste my energy watching that lot of untalented wannabes either. What a claim to 15 minues of fame that show is.

    Actually I think Katie and Peter are great and although the show was a little strange, it is always entertaining to have them on our screens.

    I think its stupid they can not carry on with their show! It was good fun to watch. Com on Katie & Peter put your foot down!! x
