It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.
According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.
Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.
The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.
Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

I THINK IT WILL BE SAD TO SEE THE END OF KATIE AND PETER I WATCH IT ALL THE TIME NEVER MISS AN EPISODE.THEY ARE VERY GOOD PEOPLE AND DOWN TO EARTH. THE PROGRAMME ISNT CRUDE WELL I DONT THINK SO.AND AS FAR AS NICOLE SCHERZINGER SAYING ITS RIDICULOUS WHY DID SHE GO ON IT IF SHE THOUGHT IT.I THINK SHE THOUGHT SHE PEOPLE WOULD TAKE NOTICE OF HER BUT NO ONE COULD CARE LESS OF HER AND WHAT SHE DOES.

Lots of people watch it for all that it offers and have to be open minded about the lives of celebrities. Those who do not like it should change channel and Nicole should look to herself before critising others! It is a bit near the mark at times and language could be less strong, but it is a live programme, with live people - some of the content in other shows (like Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross leaves a lot to be desired and comes near to vulgarity at times).
