It's a sad day for fans of chat shows everywhere with the news that ITV has reportedly binned off Katie And Peter: Unleashed.

According to The Sun, the show won't be returning to ITV2 in the Autumn after complaints from both viewers and guests.

Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger had said it was the most ridiculous show she had been on, while Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd said it was crude.

The series mixed a chat show format with behind-the-scenes footage of the pair preparing for the interviews and talking about their sex lives.

Despite having their chat show canned, Katie and Peter are expected to continue to work with ITV as part of a golden handcuffs deal and a new fly-on-the-wall series is expected later this year.

    I actually liked the show, its a change and their not your average couple which is a change. If all chat shows were the same, how bored would we be??????

    I think the couple are very down to earth, and I liked the series. I can't see what the fuss is about....

    I love both of them I think they are great! I watch all of their shows and have read all of Katies books and I think after the life she has had and all she has achieved they deserve a little bit more credit. I really enjoyed the show and am going to be sad to see it go, just another good tv show which has gone to add to the pile, all we have left is rubbish.
