First impressions...

Janice Dickinson

It's all kicked off for another year as nine celebrities settle down to three weeks of intensive career rejuvination in the Aussie jungle. So, after last night's I'm A Celebrity, what are our first impressions of this years's hopefuls...

Anna Ryder Richardson - whinging already. She looked shocked and horrified when faced with a bungee jump into camp (hasn't she seen the show before?) and afterwards said it was the worst experience of her life. Worse than working with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on Changing Rooms? Surely not?

Marc Bannerman - acted like someone who was nervous on their first day at work by repeating everyone's names constantly when he first met them. Proved himself in the first challenge. Seems like a genuinely nice guy... so far.

Cerys Matthews - has said she is looking for her Tarzan in the jungle. She was all over Marc like a rash last night - has she found him already?

Rodney Marsh - was a little too hasty in volunteering Marc for the first Bushtucker Trial and now faces his own following the viewers' vote. Are the viewers on to him already?

John Burton Race - hasn't contributed much so far apart from being on hand to cook the first meal. Kangaroo steak - yum.

J Brown - when Janice asked him what he did he described himself as a musician who used to work with a bunch of other guys. J, surely you are not ashamed of your boyband past in Five? Does appear quite genuine - the ladies in the camp will be fighting over him.

Gemma Atkinson - hasn't made much of an impact so far but news reaches us that the bikini has made its first appearance in Oz this morning so expect her popularity to soar.

Lynne Franks - was she really the inspiration behind Ab Fab monster Edina? She has obviously mellowed a lot with age. Still, it's nice to see the friction building between her and Janice - there will be fireworks.

Janice Dickinson - the first episode really was The Janice Dickinson Show as the crass ex-supermodel made her mark on the camp. She clashed with Lynne, told deserter Malcolm McLaren exactly where to go and flirted outrageously with both J and Dec. The woman appears to be pretty fearless - well, apart from when it comes to eels - she could go far.

Agree? Disagree? Let us know what you think...

I'm A Celeb, is a great show, but oh! how sad it is to have people on it that are so rude as Janice Dickinson I do Not know, but it takes all sorts to make a world, I think that she is so rude that it is the only way that she can get noticed, she must take a huge amount of ugly pills per day, she gets my vote to go as soon as possible.

I think Lynne Franks is the spitting image of Carole from BB,she knows everything about everything and nobodys right but herself.I didn,t like her either.Really hope J.D.puts her in her place.I don,t think J.D.is rude at all, she,s very tongue in cheek and knows where to light the blue touch paper.
