Lucinda lost out on a place in The Apprentice final this week after Sir Alan branded her 'too zany' to work for him and one of the other interviewers dismissed her as a 'nutcase'.
Sure, she was possibly the most eccentric candidate to ever take part in the show and she could have given Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money in the fashion (mi)stakes but that's hardly a reason to rule her out.
So, did she deserve a place in the final? Frankly, no. Firstly, it's become clear over the weeks that she is not a team player. Good team leader, yes - but she struggled to take orders from anyone else and proved to be very disruptive during tasks. Secondly, it did become apparent that she didn't really want the job (well, she did say it!) and it was more likely she took part in the show to to prove she could win it, rather than because she wanted to work for Sir Alan.
In a catastrophic move, she commented to the others outside the interview rooms that she felt that the job wasn't for her. Big mistake - especially when you have a snake like Alex listening. Alex wasted no time in mentioning her shock statement in the boardroom and from then on the writing was on the wall for Lucinda.
Lucinda's firing means that for the first time ever four candidates will take part in the final and, in another first, will work as two pairs - Alex and Helene v Lee and Claire.
So, who do you think will triumph? We think that Lee and Claire could nail this one. He's the grafter and she, most definitely, has the gift of the gab and is an excellent sales person. And with those two in the boardroom, we think that Claire will clinch the title.

Well, I love this series. It makes me feel more professional than ever !! Claire should win, as I think she has what it takes. Helene referring to the others in the way she does is awful. Who does she think she is. Alex is a snake and will always land someone else in the crap to save himself. Lee, shame about telling porkies on his CV that was a bad move. As for porr old Lucinda. I liked her, but not Apprentice material at all.

What's the point of proving yourself by being on the winning team 8/10, to get fired now means it counts for nothing. This series is full of errors of judgement on Alan Sugars part, and is losing credibility by the week. Alex is a snake, and Helene! Just what has she done. Motormouth to win!!

Would you want to work for an overbearing insensitive bully? Alex, Lee and Helena have shown themselves to have no integrity and will lie easily when they need to. They get abusive and nasty when things don't go there way. Claire may have a big mouth but at least what you see is what you get, working with Sir Alan I would imagine it would be jsut the attriubted needed to get him to listen. Talk about pot calling the kettle black, big deal so hes the boss that doenst mean you can't be couteous or respectful.

Joking apart lucinda was and is great and good on her for sticking to her own sense of style! Alex should be quietly taken outside and shot for dropping her in the sh.t with SRALLEN!! He has licked so many boots he will probably die of cherry blossom poisoning anyway!!

The job will do nothing for their humanity except divert them from love, relationships, children and self development on a spiritual level. Their rewards will be nothing in comparison to their losses in the long run. let them all get the bloody job and self tyrannise!!

Granted, she was not right for the position, but she is a person who has bucked the trend, developed her own personality, style and won through. Lucinda is a person of complete substance, over the rests b*llsh*t.
