Lucinda lost out on a place in The Apprentice final this week after Sir Alan branded her 'too zany' to work for him and one of the other interviewers dismissed her as a 'nutcase'.
Sure, she was possibly the most eccentric candidate to ever take part in the show and she could have given Carrie Bradshaw a run for her money in the fashion (mi)stakes but that's hardly a reason to rule her out.
So, did she deserve a place in the final? Frankly, no. Firstly, it's become clear over the weeks that she is not a team player. Good team leader, yes - but she struggled to take orders from anyone else and proved to be very disruptive during tasks. Secondly, it did become apparent that she didn't really want the job (well, she did say it!) and it was more likely she took part in the show to to prove she could win it, rather than because she wanted to work for Sir Alan.
In a catastrophic move, she commented to the others outside the interview rooms that she felt that the job wasn't for her. Big mistake - especially when you have a snake like Alex listening. Alex wasted no time in mentioning her shock statement in the boardroom and from then on the writing was on the wall for Lucinda.
Lucinda's firing means that for the first time ever four candidates will take part in the final and, in another first, will work as two pairs - Alex and Helene v Lee and Claire.
So, who do you think will triumph? We think that Lee and Claire could nail this one. He's the grafter and she, most definitely, has the gift of the gab and is an excellent sales person. And with those two in the boardroom, we think that Claire will clinch the title.

Personally I want Lee to win it. Helen and Alex won't and Claire has got a job with the MD of Birmingham footy club if she wants it! LEE to win! So what if he lied on his CV about education? A lot of people do it!! I work inr ecruitment and to be honest, qualifications don't make the man, the man shows what he/she can do and then will get the job. LEE to win!!!!!!!!

All 4 who managed to get through to the final have almost no education (but perhaps he can relate to that more...). Look at the guys who did the interviews, I have never seen more common in my life! Lucinda, Raef and Sara - you are far too civilised, good mannared and educated to be working for people like that!

I am sick of all the other contestants who all have much to high an opinion of themselves. Sir Alan should rename the show to reflect that being a good sales person is the main attribute he is looking for.

She has shown over the weeks that she is not a team player and frequently throws her toys out of the pram when she cannot get her own way. Although I think the others have treated her unfairly at times. I think Lee should win, although I know he lied on his CV, but come on who in business doesn't ocassionally use unscrupulous methods to further themselves. He has shown amazing salesman ship throughout the series and I love his mature outlook. Good Luck Lee,

If that Alex wins I'm not watching the show again, he was awful in the interviews and kept going on about being 24! WTF? Then they said he was good!
