No Burns Victims

You can just imagine the producers of Celebrity Wife Swap (Sunday, 8pm, Channel 4) rubbing their hands together with glee when they signed up hardman ex-footballer Neil Ruddock and loudmouth singer Pete Burns, together with their partners, for the first episode in the new series.

On paper this looked set to be a massive culture clash but in reality it was actually quite touching with both sides learning something from the experience. In fact the only shocking moment was the discovery that Ruddock keeps topless pics of his glamour model girlfriend Leah Newman on the mantlepiece.

Wife Swap as social experiment, not car crash TV - who would have thought? Isn't it more fun though when they don't get on?
