A-list stars backing Britain's Got Talent's Susan Boyle

Britain's Got Talent contestant Susan Boyle

Yesterday we reported how Susan Boyle's Britain's Got Talent performance has already been watched by millions of people online, including more than four million views on Yahoo! Video.

Now it's been revealed that the Scottish charity worker can already count A-list Hollywood stars among her fans after Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher praised her on Twitter.

Ashton was first to comment on her performance of I Dreamed A Dream, saying: "This just made my night."

His wife Demi replied to his message and revealed "You saw it made me teary!"

Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell will reportedly offer Susan a record deal whether or not she triumphs in the show.

Media interest in Susan from around the world has been intense following Saturday night's programme, including interview requests from radio stations in the US and Australia.

In the UK, the popularity of her performance has led to another recording of the song by Patti Lupone entering the midweek charts. Under the rules of Britain's Got Talent, it's unlikely that Susan's version will get a release until after the series ends - despite massive public demand.

The 48-year-old is already bookmakers' favourite to win the talent show at 5/2, despite only one of the audition shows having been shown by ITV.

What did you think of the performance? Watch it below and let us know...

Susan made by night. I cried listening to I Dreamed a Dream. I cried when I saw the show Les Miserables when I lived in London too. Susan is absolutely pheonomal. I hope she goes all the way to win. I am confident if she doesn't, that it won't be the last time we hear from her anyway. Amanda was so right, we put too much store on good looks and not enough on the real talent. Good Luck Susan, you sing beautifully and I thought you were wonderful.
