Michael fired... at last!

Michael Sophocles

If you'd have opened your window last night at about 9.55pm you'd have heard the sound of cheering across the land as Michael Sophocles was FINALLY given his marching orders in The Apprentice.

Michael seemed to get 'one last chance' from Sir Alan every single week and managed to wriggle off the hook from all sorts of disastrous tasks - from cheating over the tennis rackets to the kosher chicken debacle!

Last night's boardroom was real edge of the seat stuff - with at one point it looking like Helene was going to be sacked. Sir Alan quite rightly pointed out that we haven't seen much of Helene during the ten weeks of the show - what exactly does she do? His character assassination of her though did feel a bit too harsh - anyone else agree? We do feel that her card has been well and truly marked and it will take a minor miracle if she is not next to go.

And where has it all gone wrong with Lucinda? Only a couple of weeks ago we were rooting for her to win the series but last night she once again seemed more interested in sabotaging the task for team leader Lee than helping out. Her efforts at selling were pitiful and she was preoccupied with getting recognition for her contribution. Can she redeem herself next week?

Lee, Alex and Claire all had a very good week and these three now look like the ones to beat. Claire has really got her act together and is even managing to keep her mouth shut in the boardroom. Could she end up the surprise winner?

What did you think of last night's show? Should Sir Alan have sacked more than one person? Who do you think will win?

Luck ran on Micheal again yesterday. I think he has had enough chances from Sir Alan. Wow very surprised when Micheal took a mustang to a vege market. Its awful. Helen is equally an o yes member if you know what i mean, i mean she is just there. I pray Alex doesnt win, he is very cunning. Lee and Claire should be the people to get to the final. Lee is outspoken, articulate and matured, he is what Sir Alan needs. Claire is equally good and i think she knows a bit of what she is doing. However Lee is the right man for Sir Alan. He is just good looking and Mature, though he could have handled Lucinda better than he did. Charlie Aberdeen

I think that everyones time would be better spent learning to spell and not watching the television.

They are all so dreadful. You would certainly never employ one. I feel sorry that Alan has to end up with one.

Fire 'em all. Not one has shown real potential as an apprentice let alone a project manager. Egotists, loud mouthed, bullies, blah blah blah blah blah.

I actually began to warm to Michael last night, for the first time.Think his totally unexpected apathy to @#$%-toys cars swayed me (though what about that empty boast on the wedding task that he could feign enthusiasm in anything,eh?!) HELENE MUST GO!!. Lucinda seems to have a real problem being anything other than project manager. Haven't forgiven Lee for Sara outburst. Grudgingly concede that Alex & Claire are performing well, in spite of themselves....

Most of the people who have put their comments on this blog cannot spell even simple words & therefore have no business commenting on the shortcomings of others. Presumably Lee wins the competition as he is at present working for Sir Alan Sugar.

did not get to see it last night ,its usually wednesday night its on,glad michael is gone, only watching this programme now because it like watching a car crash, sir alan should let the series go after this ,no one who has a brain would apply for the show ,.i like to know how many previous apprentices are still working for sir alan ,not many i think ,none of them deserve to win
