Michael fired... at last!

Michael Sophocles

If you'd have opened your window last night at about 9.55pm you'd have heard the sound of cheering across the land as Michael Sophocles was FINALLY given his marching orders in The Apprentice.

Michael seemed to get 'one last chance' from Sir Alan every single week and managed to wriggle off the hook from all sorts of disastrous tasks - from cheating over the tennis rackets to the kosher chicken debacle!

Last night's boardroom was real edge of the seat stuff - with at one point it looking like Helene was going to be sacked. Sir Alan quite rightly pointed out that we haven't seen much of Helene during the ten weeks of the show - what exactly does she do? His character assassination of her though did feel a bit too harsh - anyone else agree? We do feel that her card has been well and truly marked and it will take a minor miracle if she is not next to go.

And where has it all gone wrong with Lucinda? Only a couple of weeks ago we were rooting for her to win the series but last night she once again seemed more interested in sabotaging the task for team leader Lee than helping out. Her efforts at selling were pitiful and she was preoccupied with getting recognition for her contribution. Can she redeem herself next week?

Lee, Alex and Claire all had a very good week and these three now look like the ones to beat. Claire has really got her act together and is even managing to keep her mouth shut in the boardroom. Could she end up the surprise winner?

What did you think of last night's show? Should Sir Alan have sacked more than one person? Who do you think will win?

Wonders will never cease! At last we are rid of that useless prick! If anyone wished to bankrupt their company, this cretin would do it for them in less than a week! Personally, if I were Sir Alan, I would fire the whole bloody lot of them and invite that wonderful innovative lady barrister back! If you ever read this, Sir Alan, please take note and act accordingly!

Definately fired the right person this week, albeit several weeks too late! I think Helene would have been fired as well last night had the plan for the rest of the series allowed for it - instead its interviews next week, and then a semi final and a final. Surely Helene is next to go? What is her point?

I was happy to see Micheal go. But I think Sir Alan should have fired Helene as well. She is dead weight. At least Micheal made and effort, lousy as it might have been. Lucinda is far too chaotic for my liking. I would not want her working for me! Although my roommate think she will win! Claire i think might put a twist on it. She stands a good chance of winning. N.P

Haven't seen this weeks yet but so glad the little twit has gone! He should have gone weeks ago when he played on being a 'good little jewish boy' and then didn't even know what kosher meant. I hope he learns something when he watches himself in this series because he's come across as the most conniving git on the planet. One thing I will give him - He made good telly!

I like this prog but i would hate to work with people like these, some are okay such as Lucinda, but like Michael, most of them would stab their granny in the back to get a job with the Sid James lookalike..having worked in many corporate office jobs it seems to be the rule not the exception..these people have blinkers on and are continually trying to prove something..Lucinda to win..but she wont..

Who cares? It's just an edited TV game show. I'm surprised people actually take it seriously.

All these people love themselves so much and think they are so great, they are always going on about how good they are and then they usually go and make a total shambles of their tasks. Claire has improved the most and shows the most potential so I think she deserves to win, although I think she is very annoying. Lucinda has her good points but is ruining her chances by behaving like a spoilt kid, though Lee and Alex have ganged up on her everytime and people never listen to her. I can't stand Helene - the only skill she has shown is bitching and backstabbing. Also can't stand Alex, he is a lying little weasel. And will Lee stop doing those stupid teradactyl impressions!!!!! Hey ho, the interviews next week should sort them out!
