Singer Beyonce Knowles is said to be in talks to join the cast of Desperate Housewives.

The former Destiny's Child star is set to make a guest appearance in the series and her manager/father is said to be in negotiations to make the role more permanent.

The news comes amid speculation than one of the Wisteria Lane regulars will be bowing out at the end of this season.

The current series of Desperate Housewives has seen the show return to top form following a so-so third season. If you only watch the show occasionally then DO NOT MISS next week's episode when a disaster hits the residents and their lives will never be the same again!

    Oh what a mistake. The cast are great. I'm not sure if she would fit.

    I think your wrong there mate becuase she is a good actress, havn'y you seen her movies. She would fit in becuase she it hot like the others

    Beyonce is better on Screen Movies, not TV sitcoms come on guys, she is already a superstar in everythimg let her live

    Why? Why? Why do they want a prima donna to come and spoil a perfectly great show which has a great cast that is rounded and suited for their roles. Her presence will upset the balance. Does she need publicity because decent songs have dried up. Don't do it, I say. I want to continue watching DH with a believeable cast and great storylines. Where will she fit? No where!!!!
