- Video: Watch Kevin's best bits
Matt Lucas-alike Kevin became the sixth candidate to be fired in last night's Apprentice. Was Kevin the right person to go?
Well, of the three candidates he took back into the boardroom - yes. He refused to listen to the other team members suggesting that they would be better to do the sales presentation and as a result his pitches were disasters.
Kevin made a catastrophic mistake in not taking Jenny back into the boardroom. Jenny should have been in there and should have been fired for her appalling 'save the earth' week idea - let's all save the planet by cutting down lots of trees to send cards to each other. Clever.
So, did the other candidates agree with Sir Alan's decision? Absolutely not. The last five minutes of the programme when the contestants return to the house are fast becoming the best in the whole show. This week saw everyone turn on Sara and tell her to her face that she deserved to be fired.
We've praised Lee in previous weeks but his behaviour last night was disgraceful as he shouted at Sara that next time if she doesn't contribute he will not accept it and will be taking her into the boardroom with him. Annoyingly Sara failed to defend herself - though possibly she was simply shocked after finding herself under attack from all sides.
Does Sara still deserve to be in the running? Well, it's difficult to tell because we haven't really seen her in action yet. Does this mean that she doesn't contribute or simply that she is not getting much screentime? We don't know. Hopefully she will get to be team leader next week and then we will finally see what she's made of.
The other memorable moment last night was Michael's triumphant - and very inappropriate - football yob yell in the boardroom. We thought poor Margaret was going to have a heart attack. Michael's team had a very narrow victory - mainly because the other team's idea was so bad. Earlier in the task he had spent several hours trying to work out where to put an apostrophe. Michael tried to find the answer by calling up the editor of the Telegraph and the British Library. Had he thought about using a dictionary? We know where we would suggest he put the apostrophe...
What did you think of last night's show? Do you think Sara was treated unfairly? Was Kevin the right person to go? Let us know what you think...

Sara was not treated well. Lee was/is an arogant ego tripping @#$% and was out of order. I am waiting for Sara to assert herself, even a little bit more. I think we have yet to see Sara perform, given a chance. Jenny, I wouldnt trust the length of a barge pole! A back stabbing, kiniving, manipulative, scared egocentic little wench if ever I saw one! A college to work with? I dont think so! Someone to admire the techniques she employs to weave her way to the winning post? I dont think so! Please Sara, wake up and kick ass! And as for Raef....hes got balls for speaking up! Kevin,in the 'after show' appeared to be quite a good guy afterall, but he did act like a bit of a bighead @#$%, railroaded by cunning Jenny. Boy, is she good at setting people up to fail! Watch out other members.....!
Posted by: steamineagle on Thu May 01 11:24AM | Report abuseI was thoroughly disgraced by the contestants behaviour towards Sara. Jenny, is the most disgusting human being on the planet, how dare she always single out someone who is not likely to be on the firing squad? And the others (oh should I have an apostrophe in "others"!!??!!) namely Clare and Kevin just followed Jenny's que to save their own fat backsides' (what wimps) and then Clare comments, well "did we fail the task because Sara didn't contribute? To which she herself replied "No". Well why did you agree to Sara being fired??? I think between Jenny's comment about not sending cards to people because of the wastage of paper and yet advocating selling cards to save the planet...and Clare's conclusion that Sara is not to blame for failing the task....I am convinced Clare and Jenny share a brain. Like Shazia, Sara was made a scapegoat by the ugly wicked witch Jenny. And Lee's shocking behaviour??? What was he on, no sex in the house for him probably lead him taking his frustation on Sara. I am beginning to believe that Jenny could possibly be a racist...first Shazia now Sara, watch out Raeff....(could this have the same ramifications as Big Brother???) probably not if Jenny gets fired. Poor Sir Alan, he so wanted to fire Jenny but dive Kevin didn't bring her in the Boardroom (probably fancied Jenny and her planet - whichever planet she lives on!!!). Personally I'm fond of Sara, Lucinda and Raeff and possibly Micahel and Helen...but the rest are a bunch of titfaces.....

Posted by: muremaxwell on Thu May 01 11:25AM | Report abuseDon't think it's racism or sexism, just arrogance. They are not there to assess each other, Mr. Sugar does that admirably well. Kevin was never going to win, there's still some there who will never win, it's only a matter of time ..... note the correct use of apostrophes
Posted by: salsa_temps on Thu May 01 11:25AM | Report abuseYes Sara was untreated unfairly. My main reaction is I did not realise there were so many two faced, self opinionated people around. Every show you watch the degree of lies and back stabbing that goes on is unbelievable.

Posted by: bivonjones on Thu May 01 11:25AM | Report abuseI think Sir Alan made the right decision in firing Kevin. If he thinks he is going to be another Alan Sugar by the time he is 40 he needs to take a step back and look closely at his management style. The environmental cards was the most stupid idea and he should have delegated the pitch task to the wonderful Jenny. I noticed Sara was quick to step back from it, another person who is out of her comfort zone in anything she does.
Posted by: margaret.owen16 on Thu May 01 11:25AM | Report abuseThank god for Raef, I'd hate to have seen this tirrade continue. This was jealousy, hipocracy and racism all rolled into one. Sara has already proved herself by winning when she was team leader, in other roles she has been a brilliant team member. The fact that she does not insult others and throw her weight around does not mean she does not contribute. This is just another example of how unqualified people feel that the best roles should not be given to minorities. The people need to remember two things, who one the first series and whose the richest man in the UK.
Posted by: gurbinder.sangha.t21 on Thu May 01 11:26AM | Report abuseIt's hard to choose who to root for with this bunch. Idiot Kevin had to go. What was his reasoning for taking Sara into the boardroom?? Where did that come from? Sara and Claire should not have been in the boardroom, it should have been Jenny Celery, and himself and Sralan should have fired both of them for this interminable debacle. And the nonsense of everyone ganging up on Sara was instigated by Jenny and spiralled out of control with her constant nagging to the others. 'Cos she knew she was still in by the skin of her teeth because silly Kevin didn't take her into the boardroom and she had to throw everyone off the scent. Saying this though - Sara needs to stand up for herself and make herself heard more. Sralan should make her Team Leader so that we can see what she is made of. As for Helene......she blatantly has it in for Lucinda. Every week she has shown gross hostility towards her and Lucinda always keeps her cool and removes herself from her antagonism. Does Helene think that this is an endearing quality and that in any way if she were to be employed by any company that this treatment would be acceptable? I think she sees Lucinda as a serious rival as she is quite dignified. Can't wait for next week - have heard that two of them get the Spanish Archer (elbow!!)
Posted by: carolreid04 on Thu May 01 11:27AM | Report abuseI personally think that all the people in the apprentice are being racist to Sara because they all want her to get fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Racist because she is not white!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
