Sara Thrown to the Lions

The Apprentice's Sara Dhada

- Video: Watch Kevin's best bits

Matt Lucas-alike Kevin became the sixth candidate to be fired in last night's Apprentice. Was Kevin the right person to go?

Well, of the three candidates he took back into the boardroom - yes. He refused to listen to the other team members suggesting that they would be better to do the sales presentation and as a result his pitches were disasters.

Kevin made a catastrophic mistake in not taking Jenny back into the boardroom. Jenny should have been in there and should have been fired for her appalling 'save the earth' week idea - let's all save the planet by cutting down lots of trees to send cards to each other. Clever.

So, did the other candidates agree with Sir Alan's decision? Absolutely not. The last five minutes of the programme when the contestants return to the house are fast becoming the best in the whole show. This week saw everyone turn on Sara and tell her to her face that she deserved to be fired.

We've praised Lee in previous weeks but his behaviour last night was disgraceful as he shouted at Sara that next time if she doesn't contribute he will not accept it and will be taking her into the boardroom with him. Annoyingly Sara failed to defend herself - though possibly she was simply shocked after finding herself under attack from all sides.

Does Sara still deserve to be in the running? Well, it's difficult to tell because we haven't really seen her in action yet. Does this mean that she doesn't contribute or simply that she is not getting much screentime? We don't know. Hopefully she will get to be team leader next week and then we will finally see what she's made of.

The other memorable moment last night was Michael's triumphant - and very inappropriate - football yob yell in the boardroom. We thought poor Margaret was going to have a heart attack. Michael's team had a very narrow victory - mainly because the other team's idea was so bad. Earlier in the task he had spent several hours trying to work out where to put an apostrophe. Michael tried to find the answer by calling up the editor of the Telegraph and the British Library. Had he thought about using a dictionary? We know where we would suggest he put the apostrophe...

What did you think of last night's show? Do you think Sara was treated unfairly? Was Kevin the right person to go? Let us know what you think...

Yes definitely Kevin had to go.He was in charge.Responsibility lies with him.Jenny should have gone too.I'm hoping Sara with shine through next week and to forget about this week and take on board all the other team members comments.Oh!I haven't seen Lee do anything worthwhile yet.

Sara thinks she can get through the first few rounds of the show by staying out of trouble, it is no wonder those who stick there necks out to impress are not happy with her. I think Kevin was a good guy, but would not fit in well with Sir Alan sugars company.

It was right he was fired, he never had a clue, I'm glad I don't have an account at his bank ! If he's so into saving the planet , how come he's got a Porche ! Steve.

I do not think we should lable the attack on sara as racist. Racism is about treating some one badly because of their colour, or race, not because of their actions. Those that attacked sara did it to warn her off that she was very lucky to still be there. If not does it mean we can never critise a black, red, yellow, or other race person. People we have lost the meaning of racism, and now are using it wrongly at every convenience. Lets not lose our heads over this

I think Jenny should have been taken into the boardroom and fired, she's nasty and boy does she know how to pass the buck. I was really quite shocked at Lee's treatment of Sara and the way everyone else joined in was diabolical. The final decision rests with Sir Alan and even he said Jenny should have been in the boardroom. Come on Sara, stand up for yourself love, show them what you're made of. Gentleman Raef was a real knight in shining armour but he might not always be around to defend you so you need to be more vocal.

Kevin appears a bit grandiosed in his opinion of himself along with other contestants. Sara is obviously not as bulldozing in her approach and is probably not so lacking in self assurance as some of the others. She appeared genuinely shell-shocked at their bullying approach and I hope that when she has her turn at being team leader she is heard even though shouting is not her style. Please, next series choose a bunch of Nurses from Weymouth Community Hospital to do the tasks....we KNOW we could whip the pants off this lot!

Glad that Kevin went - he was too arrogant to listen to his team, not a good trait for team leader. Sara is okay but I think that she has more to offer than she is letting on - come on Sara, you can do better than that!

I don't usually watch such trash, but I saw the buffoon who was fired last night on a trailer. I was shocked by the incompetence, arrogance and complete lack of redeeming features present in any of the sad, sycophantic cretins. It's really no wonder we live in a society in meltdown. It's too depressing to watch again. Although it sadly says so much about the vacuous masses who watch this rubbish regularly. SS

its a shame that appearances in the boardroom almost always bring out the worse in the contestants and under pressure people often resort to bareface lying to save themselves. sara hasn't been given enough airtime because the other characters make such compelling cringeworthy viewing. i love lee but last night he was being a bully pure and simple. i'm glad that rafe stuck up for good manners and sara but frustrated that she felt unable to defend herself. jenny is a nasty piece of work and should be fired.
