- Video: Watch Kevin's best bits
Matt Lucas-alike Kevin became the sixth candidate to be fired in last night's Apprentice. Was Kevin the right person to go?
Well, of the three candidates he took back into the boardroom - yes. He refused to listen to the other team members suggesting that they would be better to do the sales presentation and as a result his pitches were disasters.
Kevin made a catastrophic mistake in not taking Jenny back into the boardroom. Jenny should have been in there and should have been fired for her appalling 'save the earth' week idea - let's all save the planet by cutting down lots of trees to send cards to each other. Clever.
So, did the other candidates agree with Sir Alan's decision? Absolutely not. The last five minutes of the programme when the contestants return to the house are fast becoming the best in the whole show. This week saw everyone turn on Sara and tell her to her face that she deserved to be fired.
We've praised Lee in previous weeks but his behaviour last night was disgraceful as he shouted at Sara that next time if she doesn't contribute he will not accept it and will be taking her into the boardroom with him. Annoyingly Sara failed to defend herself - though possibly she was simply shocked after finding herself under attack from all sides.
Does Sara still deserve to be in the running? Well, it's difficult to tell because we haven't really seen her in action yet. Does this mean that she doesn't contribute or simply that she is not getting much screentime? We don't know. Hopefully she will get to be team leader next week and then we will finally see what she's made of.
The other memorable moment last night was Michael's triumphant - and very inappropriate - football yob yell in the boardroom. We thought poor Margaret was going to have a heart attack. Michael's team had a very narrow victory - mainly because the other team's idea was so bad. Earlier in the task he had spent several hours trying to work out where to put an apostrophe. Michael tried to find the answer by calling up the editor of the Telegraph and the British Library. Had he thought about using a dictionary? We know where we would suggest he put the apostrophe...
What did you think of last night's show? Do you think Sara was treated unfairly? Was Kevin the right person to go? Let us know what you think...

Yes Sara was treated unfairly - her idea of an Ede card was much better that the environmental jobby even if it wasn't original. Going along that line and finding something original would have been much better. Those mouthy individuals like Jenny & Claire need a telling off! Does everybody in business have to be so duplicitous? We have seen Jenny changing tack in the board room before to save her skin. she really deserves to go - but I don't have any sympathy for Kevin either.

Posted by: asutton4 on Thu May 01 11:32AM | Report abuse@#$% shud have taken Jenny in, Sir Alan more or less told him to. Add a new twist, put 2 out for bullying, Helena & Jennifer on Lucinda, and bring back SIMON

Posted by: lindacordner1206 on Thu May 01 11:33AM | Report abuseHave all the house forgotten that it was saras themed night in the restaurant that did really well?? The majority of the contestants have no creativity in them at all. A class of primary school kids could have come up with better card ideas.
Posted by: drcwilliams on Thu May 01 11:33AM | Report abuseSurely these cannot represent the elite of British intelligence?! And is there also some sort of ageism going on here. Where is anyone older than about 30? Is the programme not breaking the law in discriminating against older candidates who would be equipped not only with experience but more than one brain cell! The prorgramme cannot be taken seriously when it seeks to appoint the best of a group of apes when there is so much bright, entrepreunerial talent out there. So in the end I have to agree with the last comment. " Who gives a ..."
Posted by: tantra_zero on Thu May 01 11:34AM | Report abuseIf people had listened to Sara's ideas for the greetings card - then the team might have won as they could have had significant orders and she also knew her subject well - sure she will prove to be a good leader.
Posted by: sally.hinkley on Thu May 01 11:36AM | Report abuseKevin should have delegated, then managed, each one of his cohorts. Instead he believed he should pitch to his potential clients. Disaster! What made me s@#$% was the way certain team members allowed him to run with it knowing full well they could do better. I think this show is slowly bring out the worst in these contestants. I feel if I was an alien viewing the programme, I would certainly think how corrupt, nasty, self centred, and worthless humans can be when seeking personal gain! Poor sara!!!!
Posted by: clifframadhar on Thu May 01 11:37AM | Report abuseI don't think the bullying is racism at all. Lucinda is also bullied as both women are strong and independent but not vocal enough, therefore seen as easy targets. They could be green, yellow or pink with blue spots they would still be the easy targets. Bullies only recognise other bullies - if the Lucinda and Sara yelled back they wouldn't be bullied anymore. Not pleasant to watch for sure.
Posted by: gemmagray1010 on Thu May 01 11:37AM | Report abuseIt is not the way to talk at someone especially when so many people were around, there should have been more than one person defending her, they are alll heartless creatures who actully think there something special when to be honest I havent really seen much of anything great in any of them. Previous shows had much more competant people and better characters.
